When Tears See Truth
Could one say that he cries
Cause’ he saw tears in your eyes
Or that he hurt you too deeply
And now regretted it sullenly?
Could one say that he cries
Cause’ you saw through all his lies
And that he didn’t mean what he said
That he’ll love you instead?
Which of the two was right and was wrong
Both of them stood all too strong
What could’ve been the truth beneath lies
When the truth was also what you despise?
Before when you focused on one thing
You only saw one star brightly shining
But when that star faded, so did youth
That’s when tears would see the truth.
