Another Dream of Him

The moon has risen the moment I slept,
Illuminating me with the reflection of its light;
With one look above, I smiled,
And closing my  eyes, I drifted off to a dream.

I landed on a dark room,
Filled with people from my school;
They were laughing, giggling and excited,
But as for me, stunned and puzzled like no other.

I looked around to clarify where I was,
Snooping which each step as I passed by them;
Wherever I went, there were cameras flashing,
Partly blinding my eyes while I was walking.

From my right, someone snatched my arm,
Pulling me straight to him as he told me to sit;
Those same eyes I saw grinning back at me,
I realized I was brought in by him.

"You kidnapped me for a stupid rock concert?"
I exclaimed hysterically at him;
Before he manage to silence me
As he covered my mouth with his hand.

He looked at me in the eye,
Leaving me breathless with his looks,
As he whispered his own answer to me,
"You told me, you've never been to one."

Pushing him away from me with my free hands,
My eyes roamed around the place;
I couldn't believe I didn't realized it sooner,
He brought me to a place I dreamed.

Speechless when I looked back at him,
Catching that mesmerizing smile he gave,
Little did he realize I was won over when he added,
"Just stay. I promise you'll love it."

Never once planning to go against his words,
I stayed put to where I was,
Waiting for the lights to dim,
And the curtains to pull open.

My eyes flew to the banner on top,
Reading the words,
"The Rock Puppeteers"
As I found it seemed familiar to me.

Not a moment too soon,
The music started playing;
Starting with the soft beats of a drum,
Mimicking the sounds of a steady heartbeat.

The guitar strings soon joined in,
Shining with its own solo of uncanny notes;
Causing a huge uproar from the huge crowd,
As the lead sang the first words softly.

"I shall declare my love for you..."
His deep voice started;
"Haaa... love me true..."
The echoes followed.

Humming along with the music,
Involuntarily sneaking glances at him,
A smile formed on my face,
While I whispered, "Thank you."

His response was a killer grin,
As he held my hand into his,
Almost as if he's saying,
That this wasn't the last time.

My heart skipped a beat,
When he looked at me in the eyes,
As the background played loud rock,
Complementing the sparks that I felt within that moment.

A few hours later,
The concert announced the end;
A surprise just caught up later,
When they mentioned to treat all of us.

Excited for that hour to come,
I didn't realize I lost him in the crowd;
Heart sullen and don't know what to do,
Someone pulled me into the spotlight.

"Just take a picture with us!"
The chinese looking girl exclaimed to me,
"Are you sure?"
I asked her back before she pulled me in her clique.

The cameraman took the shot,
As a natural smile crept up in my face;
When it was done, the chinese girl walked away,
As if she didn't need me anymore.

Walking to some place I didn't know,
Someone handed over to me a letter;
Curious to what it was, I opened it,
It was a letter from him.

"These were the lyrics of the song,
The one I truly liked;
I hope that you'll like them too;
Meet you there!"

A satisfying sigh released within me,
As I looked around to find him,
But the more I looked everywhere,
The more I got lost inside the humungous crowd.

Deciding to just meet him there,
To the place where the rock band mentioned,
I walked out of the stadium,
And headed to that place.

The familiar scent of milk tea
Greeted me when I entered the cafe,
And in front of me, I saw dozens of people,
Conversing with each other.

It would take hours for me to find him,
But as soon as I realized that,
The waitress greeted me and led me
Towards where I was supposed to be seated.

This place looked familiar somehow,
Like I've been there before,
Was it a dream?
Or was I really there?

Wondering myself if it was,
The scene took a slight shift,
Causing my breath to tighten,
Making me feel that I was stuck in that dimension.

The menus were given to me,
Once I sat down on one table,
And on my right I saw him,
But it seemed as if he didn't know me.

I felt my esteem got low,
Stuttering my order to the waiter;
And before I could even see what happened next.
My vision got blurry.

I woke up the next time,
Longing to know if it was real or not;
It was the second dream I had with him,
What did it mean?
