As I was getting ready for my date tonight, all I could think about was the passionate kiss I shared with Massimo.

I shook my head in reprimand. Stop! You are only to think about having a good time tonight.

You are not going to think about Massimo!

Think of his bad qualities, I told my self.

Arrogant. Egotistical. Jerk. Controlling. Irritating. Obnoxious. Inconsiderate.

Yup, all of those definitely makes it to the top of my list.

I look at myself in the mirror.

Yes that's right, you are going to have a great night, I told myself confidently.

As I was heading down the stairs, I continued to chant Massimo's bad qualities in my head.

Arrogant. Egotistical. Jerk. Controlling. Irritating. Obnoxious. Inconsiderate.

Arrogant. Egotistical. Jerk. Controlling. Irritating. Obnoxious...

"You look beautiful," Massimo said from behind me.

I jumped in surprised.

"Don't sneak up on me like that!" I hissed.

He had an arrogant grin his face, which totally pissed me off. What the hell is he grinning about?

"Why are you grinning?" I asked. His grin grew wider and even more arrogant. "Stop that!" I growled.

He simply laughed in return.

"I'm grinning because I'm not even worried about your date. In fact, I feel sorry for your date," he said arrogantly.

I crossed my arms against my chest. "Oh yeah? Why is that?"

He smiled arrogantly and walked over to me. I wanted to tell him to stop, but I bit my tongue. I don't want him to know how much he's affecting me right now.

"Because, while you're on a date with him, I'm the one you'll be thinking about. You'll be wishing it was me you are having a date with. You'll be imaging me, even though he's the one sitting in front of you, cara mia. You'll be comparing him to me, and you'll find him lacking," he said arrogantly.

"You really are an arrogant prick!" I bit out.

He laughed. "Yes, but I'm the arrogant prick you want so badly," he said, before walking away, leaving me to watch his retreating back...

His sexy back...no! Stop it! He is not sexy! He is, arrogant, egotistical, jerk, controlling, obnoxious, and inconsiderate!

Damn him!

"Are you sure about this Al?" I asked her nervously.

"Yes, don't be nervous. It's going to be fine, besides Erik and I are with you," she said.

Erik chuckled. "Adam has been wanting to meet you Ara. He's a decent guy. I wouldn't have gone along with this, if I didn't trust him."

"Thanks guys. I know you're trying to help me get my mind off my obnoxious boss," I said.

They both laughed. "is he really that bad Ara?"

"Worse," I said.

They chuckled. "I swear, I don't know what it is with rich people... No offends Erik..." I said knowing he's a billionaire himself.

He chuckled. "None taken," he said.

"As I was saying. I don't know what it is with rich men, it seems like they have the need to control everything. They expect you to follow them like an obedient dog, no questions asked. It pisses me off. They expect things to happen the way they want it to. And don't even get me started on how many times we bicker like an old married couple. It's like we're always trying to tear each other's heads off," I said.
