Violleta's eyes shook like leaves on the surface.

It fluttered and soon sank into the thick snow. Axion's calm dark blue eyes look around once as he passed by. Everyone at the ballroom watched Axion with bated breath as he appeared at the spot where she had disappeared. Axion Berjet was also a man at the height of the Berjet family, who had the upper hand of all the nobles.

Maybe that's why even the air flowing next to him felt the pressure differently different. He moved low, looking at the petals fluttering in sight.

Axion pulled in, instead of chasing the woman again, who had missed by a hair's breadth. Under the light of the chandelier, black shards scattered with metallic luster suddenly seeped into Axion's shadow.
