Threw her phone away
Switched off the lights
Replaying her day
Too afraid to see her face
Her heart was wanting to burst
Brain explode out of her skull
Lungs didn't take in any air
But those eyes were still dull
Felt chilly, then hot
Like she was about to die
Felt shot at
Yet unable to cry
She screeched and hmmmed
Fell on the floor punched her fists
Felt so numb
Yet felt it all at once
The tears finally arrived
But they were red
Hurted a little
But oh such a pleasant sight
