Part 12- Precious

I'm also hoping she agrees to come along with me. I want to show her my secret place. I've never brought anyone to that place.

I was patiently waiting at the entrance of the school as other students were slowly starting to arrive. I was a bit nervous but also excited. I never thought I'd feel this way before.

Suddenly, Zahara appeared in front of me and snatched the rose from me.

"Give it back right now" I ordered.

"Aw, is that for me? You're so sweet, thank you" she cheered smiling.

"Zahara" I said her name in all seriousness.

"Aslan" she said my name in the same tone teasingly.

"I'll only see her today and then I'll stop okay?" I said.

"I said what I had to yesterday, I better not see you with her" she said.

"Zahara—"

"Thanks for the rose babe!" she exclaimed.

I got pissed and turned to leave. I just feel like punching a wall right now.

Adalina's POV.

I was more upset than ever. I couldn't find him anywhere after I last saw him with Zahara.

Ayla wished me happy birthday. She gave me a gift and wrote me a letter of like 200 words. This girl, I tell you. I love her so much.

I haven't seen Fazal yet. I thought of taking the time to thank him as I see him. He was the one who jumped in the water and took me out while I was barely breathing. I'm very grateful to him and I really want him to be aware. But for now, he's no where in my sight.

After the class ended, Ayla and I made our way out for our fifteen minutes break before our next class. I was walking with her and was completely lost in my thoughts.

Ayla suddenly stood in front of me placing her hands on her hips. She looked at me suspiciously.

"What is it again huh? It's your birthday, why you looking like that ?" she questioned.

"It's nothing—"

"Don't even try and lie to me Adalina" she warned.

"I'm wondering where he is, that's all" I lied.

"I see, don't worry he's probably thinking about what to give you or something" she was trying to reassure me.

"You think so?" I asked.

"Of course, come on—let's get ready for the next class and just stop over thinking okay? It's your birthday, smile brightly!" she said wrapping her arm around my shoulders and pulling me with her.

During math class, I was searching for him once again but he wasn't there. His friends weren't here either as well as Fazal. Something feels fishy.

All of a sudden, I slightly gasped when I felt an intense pain in my stomach. Ya Allah, this is so painful.

Is it that time of the month? Ugh. The first days are the worst. I should go check before I get dirty.

I asked permission to leave for a while and then left the class. I made my way towards the girls bathroom holding my stomach. I got into a cabin. I was right, why did it had to happen on my birthday?!

I did what I had to do and was going to go when I heard a familiar voice that grabbed my attention.

"He doesn't have a choice anymore, if he still chooses her overall then I'll make her disappear before anything else happens," the feminine voice spoke.
