Ok yall, I'm going to tell you a bit more about how Kait's emotion power works, and we're gonna do it in list form so I can keep track of it. (These probably apply to the pain aspect of her powers as well)
- She doesn't have to touch someone to read their emotions
- She can block emotions so she isn't constantly getting bombarded with other people's feelings
- When she's touching someone she can't block their emotions and it's easier to be precise
-If she doesn't block emotions she can feel emotions from pretty much the whole building and it's super overwhelming
~ If she does that she can't tell whose emotions are whose, she can't even tell which emotions are her own (it could make her go crazy or change her if her blocking's down for too long)
- If someones emotions are super strong she can feel them through the air if they're in the same room (even if she's blocking)
- Changing/manipulating/getting rid of emotions takes a lot of her energy
- She's very empathetic and good at acting due to her powers
