Waking

I woke up to a unfamiliar surrounding to be exact a white blank place with a figure of to the distance. After a few minutes on contemplating if I should approach the figure I decided to walk closer to the figure to see a women a very stunning tall women she looks down at me and says "Hello iris or should I say Kimberly I bet your wondering why your here well you were on the brink of death and it isn't your time to put it shortly" " and where is this exactly" I ask " this is the space between the living and the dead I didn't only bring you here to tell you it isn't your time there is someone who will explain the rest Im sure you'll be happy to meet but before I let you go there let me make this clear you being transmitted into this world and meeting who you have meet was not just because of your wish you were meant to be here. And if you really don't end up not liking this place there will be a time where we will meet again and I will give you the chance to stay or leave"

before I could ask any other question she waved her fingers and I was brought to a familiar surrounding it looked like my old house I ran inside to find a women sitting in a chair facing the other way when

I walked over to her to take a look once I see her my heart drops it was my mother I ran To her dropping to my knees crying "mom" I whimpered she reached her hand out touching my cheek like the last time " yes it's me iris my sweet baby" "h-h-how" I stuttered "I must be dreaming or worse am I dead I mean when the roof fell on me I thought I was going to die but I didn't actually want to die you know I mean on the bright side I'm with you and I know I didn't really believe what that women I just saw said but-"

       " your not dreaming iris and your also not dead so you can clam down though this isn't In the real world either it's a little to complicated and the lady you saw is real she sent me here to tell you something" she interjects chuckling as she brings a chair near hers so I can sit

      " I've been looking after you all this time and seen how you've grown I'm very proud of you and Chloe is so cute I wish I could meet her  and that friend of your Aurora is just the sweetest I also wish I could have meet her but to get to the point it isn't your time to die you have a greater purpose on this earth and must return soon so I don't have much time just remember I'll always be there and no matter what may happen good or bad you will always have me by your side though you won't be able to see me" " also you will soon be entering a new page of your life it'll be an interesting one and you'll find new truths but remember not to give up when faced with a challenges you know who you are and we're you originated from and you have to always remember that" she says

     "Now it's almost my time to leave come give me a hug before I leave" I get up from my chair and hug her so tight I wish she didn't have to leave she wipes my tears away then stands up to leave " I love you" she whispers before she disappears

    "Is she awake" I hear someone say
"I don't know" someone else whispers " is iris alive" I hear a new voice which seemed to belong to a child ' Chloe' I think to myself
"I don't know child she has been out for 2 days" a newer female voice  answers " come let's leave her rest" they add I then hear them leave
I try to open my eyes but the seemed glued shut. A wave of sleep hit me and I went back to sleep

1 day later

I woke up to new unknown surroundings. It was a big room had very expensive blankets and decoration. I tried to get up only to come front to front with pain I looked at my body to see a cast in my leg and bandages on my side. I also found some crutches on the side of the bed " how convenient" I thought to myself

      I got ahold of the crutches and stood up heading towards what I think was the balcony. The view was amazing 'I could see the town I live in from here' I thought. I then proceeded to look at myself in a mirror I stood there eyes open from shock you could see my older scars 'I just hope they don't ask how I got them' like I said before I really did enjoy my first 10 years of this earth and they were most of them like my 0-9 year on this earth just that the 10nth year on this earth was not so great resulting in scars. Let's just say my people where not in  the best place and we couldn't get help they were stronger than most.

       I headed back towards the bed where there where some spare clothes I put them on then headed for the door while roaming the halls I bumped into a what I thought was a wall. I looked up to see a tall women with two black horns and big black wings. It reminded me of this creature I saw often when I used to leave baked goods for the fae. The one that would look from afar when me and Aurora interacted.
          "I see your awake" she says looking down at me with a sort of relived face but I could only see it for a second." let me go tell the others"  she adds leaving me there ' I guess I should head back' I think as I go back to the room I was in. When I make it back I just sit down on the bed leaving my crutches at the side of the bed. I sighed from the pain which only increased when I relaxed.

        I heard some tiny running noise before someone jumped on me " Iris your alive I thought you were dead" she cries while hugging me " don't do that to me again" she sniffles " ok ok I won't how long have I been out" I ask " about 3 days this child has been coming here non stop asking for you" she adds.

       I look down at Chloe she really does care I love her she's practically the only family I have left of course I also have gramps " where is gramps" I ask Chloe " he stayed at home he couldn't make the walk his condition has gotten slightly worse" she replied ' gosh sometimes she talks like she's not a child anymore' " where exactly am I" I ask the lady I had bumped into earlier " your in one of the bedrooms in the castle my daughter aurora let you borrow it while you recovered" she said not looking at me.

        'Daughter aurora? Wait is this maleficent' " well um when aurora comes back can you tell her I would have loved to see her and thank you but I have to leave and get things ready for the shop" I tell her  she smiles " you can tell her right now" as soon as she was done I saw a blonde hair run towards me " I'm so glad your alive I was so worried and I didn't know what would have happened if udo hadn't been there or if maleficent didn't lift the ruble of you" she rambled on and on I just smiled while maleficent I think that was what they called her chuckled.

           POV maleficent
I chuckled looking at how my beasty was getting along with ruby ( a nickname she gave to iris since she was indeed the so called creature iris was talking about) she may not know it but she started to grow on me just like how beasty and without me knowing just like beastly I would call her my daughter of course never in front of someone since we haven't officially meet. I've been watching over her every time she got near them moors for 6 years now. I would sometimes send diaval to look after her when I couldn't since I spent time with
beasty. I absolutely loved seeing them interact every once a week I looked forward to see my two daughters interact. Of course I knew ruby was a little special.

                  Back to Iris
" ok calm down first who's udo" I ask I have never heard of that name even in the movies " second hello to you to  and lastly thank you maleficent for helping me out" I add
" Udo is a dark fae like maleficent only he's a tundra dark fea and he Rescued you along with maleficent right now he's in the moors" she replies " oh well tell him that I'm thankful for helping me with the wounds" I say
" I think you can also tell him that yourself he is heading over to check on you he's been the one who has been dealing with your wounds" maleficent interjects. There was then a knock at the door and in walked in a dark fae with white wings horns and clothing he was stunning I couldn't deny
