❝Hey, Son Hyeju! Wake up!❞

❝God, this is why we don't participate in PE Class. This is all your fault, Im Yeojin.❞

❝How is it my fault!?❞

❝Stop arguing, the two of you. It's technically Sooyoung's fault for hitting Hyeju right on the forehead.❞

❝I said I was sorry!❞

Hyeju slowly opened her eyes, blinking to get used to the light in the ceiling. ❝Oh, she's waking up.❞ The Son recognized that voice to be Im Yeojin's but— her mind raced with questions. Wasn't she just walking along with the others to watch Jeon Y/n's fight? The girl couldn't even remember anything after that.

Strange.

❝Hye, are you okay?❞

Jo Haseul has never called her Hye before.

Hyeju opened her mouth to say something, to question them just why she was in the infirmary and not on the Jeon's match against Winter. But to her dismay, the only thing that left her was a— ❝Where am I..?❞

❝Just great. Ha Sooyoung, you gave her an amnesia.❞

❝Huh!? But I didn't even threw the ball that hard!❞

❝Are you feeling okay now, Hyeju?❞ Choi Yerim's worried tone snapped her out of it, and the Son just realized the group was missing more than half individuals; Wong Kahei, Jeong Jinsol, Kim Jiwoo, Kim Jungeun, Kim Hyunjin, and Park Chaewon. Jeon Heejin and Jeon Y/n too.

She nodded in confirmation at Yerim's question, though she couldn't help but to ask. ❝Where's Park Chaewon..?❞

Confused sounds rang through the air as they all glanced at each other, puzzling Hyeju even more. ❝Park Chaewon? Who is that?❞ Something was wrong, their response to her question was enough to spark wariness in her mind. ❝How about Wong Kahei?❞

Haseul raised an eyebrow at her younger friend, not getting why or how she knew that girl. ❝Huh? Are you friends with that Vivi girl or something? 'Cause that's weird, befriending that girl is the hardest shit you'll ever do in your entire life. She's a bit creepy from what I heard from my friends on Class 4–B.❞ Sooyoung grimaced slightly, shuddering after being reminded of her encounter with the mysterious Vivi figure.

The Son sat up on the bed and buried her face on her hands, only worrying her friends even more. ❝Are you sure you don't need to rest more, Hye? We could talk to Mr. Kai to excuse you from classes.❞ Yerim was the one who is worried the most.

❝I'm fine, but I have one last question; do you know who Jeon Y/n is?❞

❝Ah, President Jeon? How do you know who she is? As far as we know, you weren't present in the last selection of the Students' Council President and you haven't even crossed paths with her.❞

Something was definitely wrong here.

❝Son Hyeju is fine now, resting on the infirmary after the incident. But it seems that she doesn't remember anything after being hit by a ball.❞ A feminine figure tapped her fingers in her desk in a rhythmic pattern, amusingly watching the person in front of her. ❝I see...❞

❝Will we be punishing the suspect of the incident?❞

❝No, let Sooyoung be. The scenario is simply not meant to happen, a simple accident so we have no reason to do so.❞

❝As you wish, may I take my leave now?❞

❝Permission to leave, granted. But do quietly keep an eye on Son Hyeju, make sure that she is well before the nurse releases her today.❞ The girl smiled with faux innocence as she saw her assistant bow down at her, stopping her fingers from tapping the desk and leaning against her seat with a heavy sigh.

She turned around along with her seat and stared at the large window before her, a nonchalant smile resting on her red lips.

❝My, my... How interesting.❞

❝Are you sure that Sooyoung didn't damaged your brain?❞

❝No— I told you, I'm not from her—❞

Hyeju felt lightheaded and burning all of a sudden. Yerim, noticing her constant slow blinking, immediately came into her aid and caught the unconscious Son's head; preventing it from hitting the board of the bed.

❝What the hell? Is she okay?❞ Haseul placed her hand on the young girl's forehead, only to hiss and pull it away quickly after feeling the burning heat of the girl.

❝Shit, I think she has to go to a hospital. Sooyoung, call the ambulance. Yeojin, get a wet towel and place it on Hye's forehead. Yerim, help me and fix Hyeju's position to a comfortable one.❞

The three didn't spoke another word and did just as ordered, all silently panicking in their own head space. In that state, they unfortunately missed the tiny pink mark that was placing itself on the Son's jaw. No one should know.

When the paramedics had come after a few moments, Hyeju was still out cold and everyone was incredibly concerned about her well–being.

❝I'm seriously concerned about her, I don't think it's about Ha Sooyoung hitting Son Hyeju anymore.❞ Yerim clasped her hands together and sighed.

❝Or it could be. Sooyoung could have just damaged her brain.❞

❝I don't know... Hyeju—❞ The Choi stopped at the middle of her sentence when she saw a black silhouette on the windows and widened her eyes in pure disbelief when it disappeared like a dust being blown by the wind. ❝Yerim? Where are you looking at?❞

❝Oh, it's just— There was a silhoue—❞

Choi Yerim felt a sudden burning sensation on her wrist and groaned in pain, gripping it as she fell on the ground with her eyes closed; tears beginning to form in it at the immense pain she haven't experienced in her entire life.

The group was baffled but tried to help the young Choi despite not knowing what was happening to her.

❝Choerry!? Are you okay!? Do you want me to call—❞

Yerim suddenly felt nothing. No pain at all. Strange. ❝No, no... It's.. gone?❞

Sooyoung weirdly glanced at Haseul and questioned. ❝and who the hell is Choerry, Jo Haseul?❞ The Jo blinked her eyes and spoke, voice innocent and clueless. ❝I don't know, the name just slipped up from my lips.❞ The group just let it go, not thinking much about it.

Being clueless is a weakness.
