Chapter 21 - Endless Cycle (THE END)

Techno's POV:

"Techno?" Sapnap said as he looks up at me, we were at the cemetery, 5 days have passed since Corpse's funeral

"Where is he?" I asked going straight to the point cause I know we both dont want the ideal chit-chat, he moves away from were he stood as I saw Dream

He was a bit far away, sitting next to Corpse's grave stone, staring blankly at it, he was wearing Corpse's hoodie and clearly had been crying, he looked weaker and paler too

"He hasnt ate a thing after Corpse's funeral" Sapnap started with tears forming in his eyes, of course he hasn't

He loved the guy too much to just let go and live his normal life

He was deeply hurt

I looked behind me to see George with a small bowl of soup in his hand as he walks to Dream sitting beside him

"Come on Dream, just a little bit? You havent eaten in days" He started only for Dream to not reply, hell, he didnt even look at the brunette

George soon stood up and walked back sighing sadly, "Oi" I called out to Dream, walking up to him once he was alone again

He didnt reply.... Figured

I sat next to him "You good?" I asked, still no reply, "I will stay here with you if you wish" I said, he didnt say anything there stood an awkward silence between us

"Fine, I will leave if you-" "No" He finally started as he held onto my shirt, on seeing what he himself was doing Dream quickly retreated his hand to himself "I...."

"Dream" I started "Hm?" He hummed out still looking at the tumb stone, No Techno this is not the time, plus look at where you guys are

But... I finally have the courage to... Ugh! Fuck it! Its now or never

"I-" Just when I was about to start he looked at me, my heart dropped and my stomach twisted, I have been with him all my life, then why now do I feel this way?

Shit.... There is no way I will be able to confess at this rate, I have to try something else

Thats when my eyes layed on his lips, no no no Techno you are NOT doing that! He didnt agree to it!

But... I really....

As my mind drifted my body worked on its own as my hand caressed Dream's cheek "T-techno?" He called clearly confused but my heart wanted to speak for this one

I placed my lips over his as I felt a weird warmth inside my chest and the feeling of my cheeks burning hot

I am sorry Dream... I couldn't control myself, please dont hate me for this, but dont forgive me either

I slowly pulled away as I looked at his face and of course as expected he was surprised and probably... no...

He isn't.... Of course he is surprise but I dont sense fear, hate or disgust on his face at the slightest, does that mean... He didnt hate it?

I could tell he didnt like it but he didnt hate it either, so I guessing... We are good right? He doesnt hate me right?

What is happening? I am thinking too much this isn't like me

"Techno....I" "Forgive me" I replied before he could finish, I dont wanna hear it, I dont wanna hear him saying we are just friends I dont-

"Give me some time to consider it" His voice suddenly rang, as it echoed in my ear "What?" I questioned just to make sure I heard him correctly

"Give me a few months to get over him, then we can talk thing out" He said, does he.... No of course he doesnt like me. Then why? I think he knew I was thinking that

"Techno, You are my best friend and I can't just reject you without giving you a chance, but at the same time I do need time to heal" He said

Liar...

I know you will never be able to give up on him, I know you cant give up on someone who is dead in a few months it takes years

You took 5 years to give up on Illumina, dont think I dont know what's up

I myself have noticed how similar I and Corpse can be, I know you are using me as his replacement but you know what? I am fine with that

For the first time I am fine with being used, cause I love you too much and cause I know you yourself has not realised this

After all, Corpse didnt as well when he used you

I pulled Dream into a hug as his arms too soon wrapped around my back "I will wait the rest of eternity for you" was all I said before we went into a comfortable silence

Tommy's POV:

"I am back!" Tubbo said, as I looked away from Techno and Dream and at my best friend, yes I was watching them from afar but thats because I was passing by and got curious

"Great, what did you find?" I asked him as he handed me a file "Name Sykkuno, age 28, Death timing 12:44, His mother was a doctor and his father was a police officer"

"Important details Tubbo" I said as I flipped through the pages of non-sense "Sorry" He replied, dont act coy with me

"Sykkuno Ex- boyfriend that being before Corpse had died during a car accident and was also a part of a gang, he had black curly hair like Corpse but had amber eyes instead of red"

"So... Sykkuno too?" I asked as he nodded, "Yup, he saw Corpse as a replacement and as soon as he started to fall for him he died" Tubbo replied as a small chuckle sound escaped his lips

"Then Corpse did the same as Sykkuno taking Dream and now Dream is doing the same thing to Techno..." I stated "Mhm!" Tubbo said cheerfully

Aint gonna blame him for sounding so happy, after all he couldn't care less

"How long are we gonna keep this innocent act?" Tubbo asked "As long as we must" I replied, even if the mafia and his son is dead

His daughter is still there and I dont want to take the risk for us to die

"So, I am guessing they are stuck this way?" Tubbo states as I nod "Yup they sure are stuck as hell"

"Stuck in an endless cruel cycle of death and heartbreak well sucks to be them I guess"

An endless cycle huh....?

Cruel...

So fucking cruel..

And that is the ending! I am sorry this is sad but I got tired of all the happy go lucky stuff and just wanted something different in my own story, so yeah.... They are stuck in an endless cycle

Anyhow! Tell me if you guys want smuts that I cut off from the original story! (Just so you know there will be no Dream x Techno smut cause as Techno said he doesnt like to be sexualized and even though I am just shipping the character's I don't wanna take the risk also cause its not included in the original story)
