Chapter 9 - Break In

Corpse's POV:

After I have given Tubbo his price he keeps it in his pocket "Pleasure to do business with you" he says as he snaps his fingers calling for the people's attention

"Conner, Where is Dream?" He asks as a man between the hundreds stood up and walks up to us "Sir, Dream is at what seems to be Professor ____ son's palace"

"Dammit thats Fundy..." I cursed under my breath "Can you show him to us?" Tubbo asks as the man nods "This way" he says leading us to his desk as I look at the screen

I saw him just sitting on the bed wait! "Zoom on his face!" I said as the agent zoomed in, he was crying... Dream...

I then so happen to notice the bite marks on his neck with hickies... Did Fundy.... "FUCKING DAMMIT!!!"

I ran out of there after thanking Tubbo and quickly got onto my motorbike when, "Dammit not this again" I tried to move my left arm but I wasnt able to, hell I wasnt even able to feel it

This has happened before when I was editing a video I recorded, I was already weak from the stab wound and my disease and now this?! Son of a...

"Hey!" I heard someone call to see Rae?! "Rae what are you-" "I am an undercover FBI agent, I saw you so I thought why not help you out a bit" She said

"Rae.... Thank you" I was really greatful and shocked, I havent talked to her or anyone for so long and to think they didnt care and still saw me as a friend is... These guys are amazing

"Sooo what do ya say? Care for a ride?" She asks as I get in her car "Hell yeah" I said "Where are we going?" "Professor ____ third palace"

"Gotcha" she said as she drove in full speed and got there in 2 hours or so "You want me to come with you?" "No thanks I am handling this alone"

"He must be a really close friend to you" she said with a small smile "Welp! I wont stop ya then! Good luck" she says driving off

I hid inside a bush as I waited for night to fall "Rae really went all out huh" I said to myself as I kept waiting

It was around 11:30 when I decided to get out of my place, (well I actually kinda went out and grab a snack and other stuff too while just walking around, Damn the security here is bad)

I went out in the dark making sure no one was watching, there where two guards standing outside, I turned the other way to think of how I can take them down

When I heard two thuds,vi turned around to see the two guys knocked out I tired to make out the faces of who they were "Wilbur and the pink haired dude"

"Get out of there, I know you are watching us" a monotone voice said which I know was the pink guy, I sighed and stood up from my hiding place

"Who are you?" Wilbur says I wasnt going to show my face of course so I just decide to speak "Its me" And that was all I have to say for both of them to recognise me

"Corpse?" Wilbur questions as the pink dude just stares intensely at me "Hey... You're Dream's boyfriend" he said, I felt my face flush from the comment

"What are you doing here anyways?" The guy asked "Dream is being held captive" I said as the two looked at each other then back at me

"So that is why Fundy was acting strange" Wilbur said, as he placed his one hand on his chin in a thinking position "We came here to see if Fundy was doing any funny business" the pink guy said

"Ok well you got the answer there" I said as I tried to walk past them, but the guy stops me "Hold up, We are coming with you" he said, oh no, no no NO

"No thanks but I can take care of this myself" I said as I tired to move away his hand but I wasnt even able to shake it, god dammit this guy is strong

"We can help ya know, plus you said the one held is Dream and I know what Fundy does for love" Wilbur said, I guess I can trust him

Well I have to, I am still healing from my wounds plus I still cant move my left arm "Fine then, but just so you know if I get captured take Dream and get out, got it?"

The two nod as we proceed to enter, it was dark inside and I guessed that they only kept guard outside, we did ran into a few guards but uh... Techno? Yeah, he took care of them

We where walking around when Wil stepped on what was a white string and an alarm went off "Shit!" I said as the three of us were soon surrounded by guards and all the lights were turned on

God fucking dammit

"Corpse! Wilbur! You guys go on ahead I will handle them" Techno said as Wilbur pulls me out and push me inside a room "Stay here, I will distract the others when the course is clear you go find Dream!"

And with that he ran out distracting the guards left, when the hallway was empty I grabbed my gun in my right hand and made a run for it

Dream's POV:

"Dream!" Fundy yelled as he entered the room "Fun-" I wasnt able to finish what I was about to say when he suddenly handcuffed me and took off the collar

He pulled me to what looked like a hidden room "here they wont find you" he said softly then gave me a kiss and left

Who won't find me? I bet its just one of those crazy scientists again, god dammit I cant catch a break

I looked around not thinking there was anything I could do when I notice a mis-placed nail, it wasnt hammered properly so the pointed part of it poked out

I got it!

I backed up to the wall as I made sure the nail was between the metel rodes of the chain, I prayed to god once for it work as I did a back flip pulling the rode of the chain against the nail as it broke

Yes! I quickly broke the wooden door with a kick just hoping Fundy still wasnt there when I opened my eyes to see Fundy missing I quickly grabbed a pair of pants and a shirt then ran out

This would break Fundy's heart but what he did was wrong

And I did rather say a test subject to scientific psycho

Then stay with a love-sick one!
