Chapter 7 - Protect

Dream's POV:

I woke up to the sound of beeping, what happened? My vision slowly cleared as my eyes took time to adjust to the light, when I can finally see properly I saw a white room

Am I in a hospital? I tried to get up but felt a spike of pain in my chest "Agh!" I muttered under my breath as I continued to try and get up and finally was able to sit up properly

I took of the oxygen mask on me then proceed to pulled off the needle in my hand when I finally notice him

I looked down to see Corpse sleeping while holding my left hand, I didnt even saw him there, he was fast asleep but he didnt look comfortable

Maybe I should take his mask off? I hold onto his head as I slowly opened his mask and when I was done I was left with a unmasked Corpse who looked way more comfortable

Cute..., wait what?!

I tried to pull my hand out of his grip when "Sykkuno... please... dont leave me..." He muttered, and hold on to me even tighter, dude... I aint Sykkuno let go

I thought to pull off my hand anyways but I couldnt bring myself to do so, dammit... I am stuck....

I looked around to see if I can fine something to entertain myself with as I sees a manga next to me, who left this here?

"Banana Fish volume 1, by Akimi Yoshida" I read out loud "This was released in 1985? the fuck?! Its 2035! Who the fuck has a manga so old?!" I whispered yelled to myself

But soon just shrugged it off and began to read the manga, every time I finished a chapter I looked over at Corpse to make sure he was alright, I dont know why I did that

After what seemed like only half an hour I felt my eyelids slowly close, as I fell back asleep

Corpse's POV:

I woke up to something falling on my head "Ow" I said as I looked at what it was "Banana Fish?" I read out loud, as I kept it on the side table to look up

My vision wasnt so clear probably the after affect of the pain killers, I look up to see... S-sykkuno?

I fall back from the chair with a loud thud, "Corpse? Whats wrong?" A voice said, no it isnt Sykkuno but... I look up to see Dream who was now awake

But I cant get it off my mind now...

"Are you sure you will be fine honey?"

"Of course Corpse! Dont you worry I will be out of here in no time!"

"Yeah, you will"

"Sykkuno! Watch out!!!"

"CORPSE!!!"

"CORPSE!!!" I heard as I snapped out of whatever that was, I looked at Dream who had a worried look on his face and behind him I saw a doctor and two nurses a male and a female one

"Sorry about that..." I apologized "Corpse I would like to speak to you for a while" The doctor said as she helped he stand up "Yes ma'am" I said as followed her outside

"Nurses pls take care of Dream for me" she said as the two nodded helping Dream back on his bed, when I noticed my mask on the bed stan... Wait...

I touched my face to see there was nothing covering it and started to panic "Sir?! SIR?! SIR CAN YOU HEAR ME?" She called as I looked around to see people staring at me

Dont look at me... Please leave me alone...

I quickly ran out, I heard the doctor's footsteps as she tries to come after me but they soon stop as I hide in an empty room

I tried to catch my breath but I couldnt when I heard people talking

"Who was that?"
"What a weird guy"
"Is he ok?"
"The hell!?"
"Where did that kid go?"

I covered my eyes as I kept trying to calm down, I need Sykkuno... I need him....

While I had my thoughts rushing through my head of my past lover, what I just did and thinking what people are thinking of me I completely forgot I left Dream there

Until I saw a black car outside "Fundy..." I said, he is here, I quickly opened the door and rushed to Dream's room

"DREAM!" I was too late...dammit!

Dream's POV:

"Let me go!" I yelled but I couldnt do much as I was badly hurt to began with so I didnt struggle much, as they drove off

But I did notice something, the man was holding me gently and he was trying his best to keep me in check without hurting me and when I did get hurt he immediately put his hand away

If the person only wanted my wisdom why make sure I was safe? They stopped as I got pushed out of the car, I looked up to see a white palace

They pushed me forward as they walked me inside I looked around, the scent of this place... I know this scent... But I cant remember whose it is

Finally they stopped at a room, it looked normal, not like a grand office or something just a normal door

A man knocked on the door "Young Master, we have got him for you" he said but before the person on the other side could answer he opens the door

Their 'Young Master' was sitting on a chair facing a computer, his chair was huge which covered his whole back profile

This scent... And the way they type... My eyes lit up "Fundy...?"

Corpse's POV:

"Are you still going after him?! Didnt dad said you are free now? You can just leave ya know!" My sister said over the phone I told her that Dream was taken by Fundy

"I know but... I dont know why I am still chasing after him" I answered, and its true I dont know why I am doing this

I heard her let out a sigh "You and your weird addiction with green eyed boys" she says as she hungs up, to which I explode with a deep red blush on my face

I...I dont like Dream! I just want to keep him safe because he....Sykkuno....

Ifelt my face tearing up just remembering the incident, my family took him away from me...

I am not letting that happen to Dream too
