He feels that the rock is still in his hand so he rips his arms out of their holding place and removes all of the tendrils off of him. After everything is off, he slices a hole, big enough for him to go through, and climbs out to see this:

Just as last time, he watched as the body steams and disintegrates. Izuku then goes to his quirk analysis journal #3 and writes what he knows so far:
Izuku: 'well so far, i have found out I need: physical harm and a purpose for the transformation to happen, and when I do transform, I go to a place full of tendrils of flesh, but I don't know to control the 'Titan form' as I now call it. I need to try some more to control the body. Features and abilities that I know so far are: regeneration, massive size, immense strength but there seem to be no vocal chords because I can only remember grunts and roars on my first transformation'
After trying a few more times, he figured out all he had to do was sort of 'fuse' his consciousness into the Titan and control it as he would his normal body, h had walked and made some more notes of what he can do and what he should learn to do for the future if he was going to b a hero.
He had slept well that day.

It was a good day that day. He had also found out he could only go into that form using extreme rage and anguish, he found this out by trying to transform but without the memories and he transformed into a different Titan:
