Nine months later.

Tanner.

Max and I first game in the double A was so good. We won, and it was just the fucking best to have Olivia, and Chase in the stands. Chase due date is in three weeks, and I'm so fucking excited. She been kicking ass at her publishing job.

The guys and I have zoom calls a lot. We tell each other how life is going since we haven't seen each other. Everyone has sent us so much stuff for baby girl. The baby shower was so fun, the guys got to fly in. We get to go to some of the Badger games to see the other guys.

Today's game was cancel duo to bad weather. So it was just Chase and I relaxing on the sofa watching movies. She had lunch ready for us to eat. Good I was fucking starving.

"Tanner!" Chase comes waddling in the living room her legs soaked.

"Did you drop the water bottles again?" laughing at her.

"Fuck you, no my water broke it's time." she smiles softly

"What no, it can't be fucking time no no." I'm nervous I'm not ready at all!

"Baby please get me a towel and some shorts or something and the hospital bag please." She sits on the sofa holding her belly.

Really, our daughter has perfect timing. Nevertheless I hurried to get everything she needed, I didn't care about me I'll come get clothes soon. As we get to the hospital, Chase was already in a lot of pain. I knew it I fucking knew it she can't handle this. I fucking did this to her.

Laying there in the hospital bed, I couldn't do anything but hold her hand. She dug her nails into my hand, and it hurt but I knew she was in worse pain than me. Seeing her cry like this, not being able to eat anything but ice chips.

"You want me to call Olivia?" I asked

"No, no this is our baby we are doing it we are doin-" she grips my hand as another contraction hits. "Doing this, I can do this Tanner."

"Okay, babygirl okay I'm here I'm not going anywhere." Kissing her hand softly.

A few hours pass and the nurse comes back in. "How is it going Chase?"

"Bad, it hurts it all hurts especially my hips they are in pain." She admits

"Yes, yes I am so sorry Chase I know but think once this is all over you will have your princess." She smiles

"Yeah, I know I can't wait I'm so sorry I didn't put makeup on before giving birth." She laughs

"Oh girl, please you are naturally beautiful." The nurse smiles checking on her stuff.

"She isn't lying the natural beauty you have is unbelievable." Kissing her cheek.

More hours pass, and all I can do is pat her back, hold her hand, and pray she is going to make it through.

Eight only two more it's been ten hours

Shit, I texted the others they are so excited but praying for Chase.

thanks you guys are amazing! I hope she will make it out of it.

She is a fighter, she has fought half her life I think she will be able to do this.
