Chapter 10

I walk into Jason's room.

'Hey, how are you feeling?' I ask.

'Better. i can sit up now so that's a good sign' he says and sits up.

'Good. sky's back you know?'

'He is? when'd he get back?'

'Just now. you think you're well enough to go see him?' I ask.

'I think so' he says and tries to get out of bed.

'Here, I'll help' I say and take his hand in mine.

I open the door and Molly tumbles in.

I raise an eyebrow.

'Heeeyy. I wasn't listening' she says and strolls off.

'You think she was listening?' Jason chuckles.

'Yep' I say and walk into the living room, still holding his hand.

Jason's POV

We walk into the living room.

'Where's sky?' I ask.

'In his room. he's not talking?' precious says.

'Weird. I'm gonna go see if he's okay' I say and walk out the room.

I almost forget that I'm holding kellie's hand until she says 'I wonder what's up with sky'

'Only one way to find out' I say and knock on his door.

No answer.

'Sky?'

Nothing.

I look over to kellie.
She just shrugs.

I push the door open slightly and peak in.

Sky's in a corner curled up into a little ball.

'Sky? you okay?' I say as me and kellie walk in, closing the door behind us.

'Stay away' he says,shaking.

'What? why?' kellie asks.

'I don't want to hurt you both.'

'How would you hurt us? why?' she asks stepping closer.

'I said stay away!' he shouts, his voice getting deeper, colder with every word.

Sky jumps up and runs to the door.

He slowly and quietly locks it.

'Sky, open the door' I say slowly

'You fools' he snarls his voice has changed, his eyes are a bright red.

Sky's POV

' Open the door' kellie says and walks towards the door.

'Are you sure you want to do that?' I spit.

I need to stop! why can't I stop!?

Jason steps forward.

'What has gotten into you?' he asks.

'I don't know what you mean' I say and step towards them.

They both back up against the wall.

'Why not join me?' I say as they back up further

'You're with the squids' kellie gasps

'We should go pay them a visit' I say.

Stop! before its too late!
Please stop this!

'SOMEONE H-' she begins to scream.

I quickly summon a diamond sword.

'Shut up!' I shout.

'Sky. stop this, think about what you're doing' Jason says.

I'm trying!

'Oh I know exactly what I'm doing...' I say.

I use these strange new powers to teleport my little friends far away.

'Where are we!?' Jason demands.

'Shut up!' I shout at him.

They both fall silent.

'Now... what should I do with you two?...' I snarl.

Jerome's POV

'They've been in there a while' I say.

'Should we go ch-' Mitch begins but is cut off by kellie shouting.

'SOMEONE H-'

'SHUT UP!' a dark voice booms.

'What's going on in there!?' I say and run to sky's room.

I push on the door but it won't budge.

'It's locked' I say.

I look over to Mitch
'One.... two.... THREE!' we say and kick the door open.

Sky is lying on his bed asleep.

'Adam? what happened!?' Alesa shouts waking him up.

'Huh? what?' he asks bolting up.

'Where's kellie and jason?' Amy asks.

'I-I dunno. where are we?' he asks.

'At home. you really don't remember anything?' I ask.

'No. All I remember is being outside somewhere...' he says thinking back.

'Where?' Alesa asks, sitting beside him.

'On a mountain, at the top.'

'We have to go searching for them' Megan says.

'Well yeah. okay, let's split up' I say.

And we think of a plan to save our friends.
