UNMASKING THE DANCER

8. Seeing him in a new light.

Diane's pov

"Kamilah!"

I turned to find Jade looking at me intently, "aren't you coming in?",

"Uhmm, I am, I......" I decided to stop stuttering and rushed to her side before we both went into the house.

Thankfully she didn't ask me what I had been looking at, it would have been embarrassing to confess that I had been ogling her brother.

Miss Flynn sat in the living room pressing her phone but when we entered, she stood up to assist with the bags,

"Wow, this is an awful lot" she commented,

"Uhmm, not all are from the list, some are for me" I replied immediately,

"Okay, that explains it",

We sorted the bags and I took the that were mine up to my room. I dumped them on the bed with the mind to do them later and went back downstairs.

Miss Flynn was going through the clothes she had listed for me to buy and when I entered the sitting room, she looked up at me, "thanks for helping" she said,

"Oh!, It's nothing" I said waving it off,

"Besides at your leisure, gather the dancers and meet me in my room so that we can take measurements and do some adjustments" she further said and I nodded.

With that she stood and took the bags to her room. I faced Jade who was sitting on one of the couches, "do you have any idea where Mr Jones may be?" I asked her,

"I don't know, maybe the studio at the back of the house" she replied,

"Woah, there's a studio here?" I asked, surprise written all over my face,

"Yes, not as big as the one in New York but it had the essentials",

"Wow. I'm coming" I said to her and went out of the house again. I made sure not to look in the direction of the water, so as not to get sucked into some male handsomeness.

Why was I even thinking like this?. I shook my head vigorously and headed for the back of the house where a single door stood out.

I went straight for the door and upon opening it, felt the eyes of about five people. Mr Jon and some crew members were working on something and they all looked up when I walked in,

"Hey Diane" Mr Jon called and I faced him,

"oh! Uhmm sorry to disturb you, I just wanted to return this" I said and raised up the credit card,

"Oh!, You through with it?" He asked,

"Yes" I replied and handed him the card,

"I'll be on my way now" I said and went out of the mini studio, making sure to close the door. Wow, the studio was the replica of the one in New York but just in a smaller size.

I went around and into the house to find Jade talking to Ryan in the sitting room, more like bantering.

But that wasn't the focus of my attention, Ryan was. His hair was wet and the water that ran down the side of his hair dropped on to the towel round his neck, making me mesmerized.

Unfortunately, he was also wearing a shirt, I would have loved to have a closer look at those abs.......,

"Jeez Diane, what are you thinking?" I scolded myself mentally and shook my head vigorously, I'm not supposed to think anything like this, right?.
