Adora POV:

I couldn't prevent myself from attaining the sword, something kept pulling me to it, but I don't believe in superstition. Before I could even take in all my surroundings, Catra had tackled me to the ground. Then before we could exchange words two people came out from a bush, talking about some 'first ones tech'. I clearly froze before them, as they froze too.

"A HORDE SOLIDER!!" The sparkly one yelled.

"I GOT IT!" The one with the bow said, but before we knew it, they had ran over to us and tied us up. Catra growled next to me, and I tried every possible way to get out of the trap.

"What kind of knot is this?" I ask, to which I got a scoff from the sparkly one in response.

"My dad's taught me." The one with the bow said.

"They know their stuff, I haven't seen this knot before." I answer with another attempt to free myself. Obviously failing, I look over at Catra to see if she got free. I should've known that she would get free before me, I mean she is a cat, but something was off... she left me. She left me, she escaped without me. Maybe she'll come back for me.. or what if she doesn't? No no, don't think like that, Catra has been by my side since forever, maybe she went to go get some Horde soldiers? The sparkly one raised me to my feet and pushed me to walk. As I was walking along the boy came up to me and spoke

"Hi, I'm Bow, and that's Glimmer." Then Glimmer yelled at him.

"We aren't supposed to swap pleasantries with a horde solider, let alone, one that we caught!" Glimmer growled but kept walking forward. Bow stayed quiet for a couple of minutes before speaking again.

"Soo, what brings you in the Whispering Woods?" He leaned close so Glimmer wouldn't hear well.

"Uhh, there was a sword compelling me I guess?" I was confused on how nice he was being.

"The blue one? Oh no, no you can't go near it." He freaked out a bit.

"Why can't I?" I shrugged my shoulders to be more dramatic.

"That sword belongs to a powerful warrior, a protector of the galaxy, and the most powerful person on our side, She-Ra." Bow explained. For some reason the name sounded familiar, I think I heard it at training once, something of the evilest princess of all. Sounds kinda weird, she's supposed to be a warrior so she's not a princess? Or we were right and he's lying, I'm so confused! I shook my head and looked forward, we crossed the same spot we were in the past 10 minutes.

"AGGHHHH!!" Glimmer screamed as she threw her fist and feet around.

"ITS THE SAME SPOT AGAIN, WE'RE LOST!!" Glimmer screamed again, for someone small she had a lot of volume.

"Then let me use my tablet! We'll get out quicker wit- oh.. uhm." Bow reached behind him but stopped after feeling around.

"With your tablet?! Go ahead and pull it out!" Glimmer threw her hands up, walking away.

"Yeah, it's not back here, we're lost." Bow tensed up. Glimmer stopped and slowly turned around, looking raged. She then smiled and started to laugh, which was really creepy. Bow nervously chuckled a bit, pushing me into bushes I guess to hide. He didn't realize he pushed me into the opening with the sword, I took this advantage to run to the sword and cut the rope cuffs. Glimmer started to scream again, then I heard Bow scream, then it was silent. It really disturbed me, my stomach was tying in knots, so I went to go check on them. Apparently a monster had gotten here from Glimmers screaming and it had chased them away, since there were broken trees and big footprints in the ground. I ran back to the sword and looked at it, I should grab it. As soon as I touched the handle I got rapid flashbacks I guess? They all felt familiar, then there was a hologram lady who spoke.

"Balance must be restored, Eitheria must chose a warrior, Adora.. ADORA!" Catra woke me up with a shake. As soon as I recollected everything that happened, I looked around.

"We have to find Bow and Glimmer!" I picked myself up and started running around. Catra followed behind, clearly confused.

"Did you hit your head? I don't know them, let alone I don't remember them being around you since I'm always there." Catra said.

"I need to find them, they're in trouble, it's my destiny-" I stopped myself mid sentence. Destiny? What destiny? Im supposed to kill the evil princesses and help Hordak take over these woods. I kept running forward, I really don't know where they are but they are in trouble. I hear screaming again and ran towards it.

"IM COMING!" I yell out, hoping they heard me. When I come to an opening, there's Glimmer and Bow, in front of a giant monster. I froze in shock, clearly shaking. Catra put her hand on my shoulder.

"You've got this Adora." Catra smiled at me. I turn to look back at the monster, I took a deep breath and yelled, but what came out was something I never knew, nor did I ever hear it.

"For the honor of grayskull!" There was a bright flash as a weird princess outfit grew on me. Wait, princess?! Ewww, why am I a princess?! I scrambled around after the transformation, trying to get the outfit off. It was really stuck on and I hated looking at it. When I looked at Catra she started laughing.

"It's not funny Catra!" But she continued on and on. After a bit she calmed down and I focused back onto the monster. I ran and attacked it, trying to kill it. Once I figured out it was really strong against me I started to run with Glimmer and Bow. We were all screaming as Catra kept laughing at us. Eventually we lost it and took a minute to catch our breath.

"Why are you she-ra?!" Glimmer screamed.

"Who is that?!" I screamed back

"The warrior meant to protect Etheria!" Glimmer held her head in her hand.

"I didn't know being a princess was contagious!" I yelled before I transformed back to myself

"It's not contagious!" Glimmer yelled back. All the while, Catra was still laughing and holding onto Bow so she wouldn't fall. Glimmer got serious and looked at me.

"You're going back to our castle." Glimmer said before turning away.

"I just saved your life, plus I turn into an 8ft tall warrior lady, I don't think you'll want me on your bad side." I went to Catra and stood next to her.

"Yeah, sparkles." She responded with. Glimmer thought for a minute and sighed.

"Fine, I'll sneak you in, but you can't get caught by anyone." Glimmer responded. We both nodded and smiled. As we walked back, Bow and Glimmer showed us the 'back way' into her room. Once we made it in we all relaxed on the floor. Catra snuggled up against me, purring lowly. As I smiled I slowly fell unconscious. Glimmer was giggling with Bow as they stood over me. I could see them over me as I groaned a bit. Of course they noticed and tried to walk away. I tried to get up but I noticed a weight on my chest. I looked down to realize that Catra was asleep on me. I blushed wildly, not able to move. Once Catra awoke, she leaped away and hid. 'Maybe she likes me' I thought before Glimmer started to talk again.
