It had once again been another year and so Y/N only had half a year left, which he decided to use to the utmost efficiency, he had started taking ship girls on sorties so that they may gain combat experience to better fight the sirens when he was gone
right now he had brought with him the Iron Blood, as they had chosen their faction to be called, ships Tirpitz, Pris Eugen, Bismark, Graf Zeppelin and Odin. Most of them were hopping up and down excitedly on their boats while Bismark stood beside him on the bow of her ship
The 2 just stood in silance while observing the water ahead of them, and due to Y/Ns far superior eyesight he could see the siren mass-produced ships far in the distance "Tell them to get ready, the sirens haven't spotted up yet so we have the element of surprise" he whispered to Bismark who nodded in response
"Everyone into position, Sirens are ahead of us" the ship girls all nodded and got into battle formation. Several minutes later they were within range of the Siren ships, who had noticed them and turned their cannons to fire
"Engage!" Bismark commanded as the Iron Blood ships turned into the girl's riggings and started firing at the enemy ships, salvo after salvo flew at the ships and Graff Zeppelin deployed her planes while Odin fired her large guns
The sirens didn't stay still however and started firing back with their laser-like cannons, lightly harming the ship girls as they dodged out the way, Y/N watched the battle unfold and told Bismark what to say when she didn't know
This wasn't just a training exercise for the ship girls, it was also a way for Y/N to train in the art of commanding, he had already done this for the others in case they ever fell into the position where they didn't have Commander Lied to tell them commands
"Torpedo!" Eugen shouted as the torpedo headed towards Birmark, who took a hard left to dodge it, but Y/N just turned the angel of his body with the ship so that he could keep his eyes on the battle
*BOOM* *BOOM*
*BOOM* *BOOM*
All of Bismarks main guns fired at the Sirens, destroying most of the surviving enemy fleet, Y/N nodded in congratulations to her before quickly snapping his head back in the direction of the Sirens as a yellow portal opened up and out came a child-like Siren female

The lasers of the cannons shot towards the ship girls at astounding speeds and would have severely damaged them if a wall of black ice hadn't erupted from the sea, tanking the hit before melting back into the water
"What!" Observer Alfa yelled in shock as the ship girls looked at where the ice was the amazed gazes but were brought back when Y/N spoke "Well, that wasn't very nice", it was then that everyone notice that her was walking on the water, not gliding like the girls but actually walking and causing ripples on the surface
