The party stood before 2 trees that bent to create the shape of an arch. On the other side of the arch was the boss chamber and many were expecting it to be a high B rank monster considering they had run into quite a few low B ranks and lost 5 more hunters, 3 knights, 1 mage and 1 healer
Although it was sad and the families would be devastated, Mark had suggested they gave the families a portion of the gold they would receive after the raid was done, everyone agreed as they had all been friends and thought it was fair
"Let's go, is everyone's armour and weapons still good?" Mark asked, after receiving positive feedback he turned to F/N and Tia "I won't force you to come with, but it would be a large help if you did", Y/N just nodded and motioned for Mark to continue
Once everyone was through the threshold the two trees collapsed, blocking the path out, everyone looked back and a few started to have panic attacks when Mark told they tom calm down and focus on the boss with a clear mind

Large steps were heard walking towards them as a giant tree monster was revealed to them, it stood 6 meters and looked down on them with blank yellow eyes. The hunters looked at it in awe before shaking off their shock and preparing for battle

"Mages! Fireballs at its knees. When the creature falls want all knights to hack at its legs so that it cant get back up. Tanks, I want you to watch for when it goes for an attack and block it. Archers, aim for the eyes. F/N, Tia, if you see an opening, you take it!" Mark yelled
The mages fired their spells and eventually brought it down just before it reached them, the knights ran forward and attacked the knees. The Trelu swang one of its arms at a knight but was blocked by a Tank putting he's shield in the way
"That's it, it's almost down!" Mark yelled as he lifted his blade high up and brought it down, cutting straight through the knee of the creature. The Trelu roared in pain as its eyes sharpened in focus and looked down at the knights but got met with an arrow to the face from one of the archers at the back
It looked at the mage before stating its hand into the ground, the soil started moving underneath the mage and large branches burst out the surface and impaled the archer in the head, killing her instantly
"It has ranged attacks!?" One of the other archers yelled in shock as he quickly scrambled away from his dead companion. while everyone was distracted the Trelu swept its other hand at the exposed knights and killed 3 of the knights and 1 of the tanks
"Stay focused people!" Mark yelled as he prepared to attack again only to see the creature fall to the ground without its head, "That was easy", he turned around in shock to see F/N holding the head with his sword by his side, "We done?" Tia asked in boredom as she walked over to her father, "Yes, let's get going, if you would" he motioned to the trees blocking their way
Tia rolled her eyes as she pointed her finger at the fallen trees and a bolt of lightning shot off of them, blowing the trees apart, Y/N looked over at Mark "As agreed, you may have all the gold for this raid, enjoy your day" he said as he and Tiamat sprinted off and disappeared from view
TIME SKIP
"It is good to see you again Y/N, but I thought you said that you wouldn't be back in 5 years?" Ainz said as he and Y/N sat at the table in his office. "I came back to give you some reports and add some gold to our treasury, along with a few other things" Y/N said taking a sip from his wine
"Ahh, so what do you have to report?" Ainz asked while leaning forward, "First, let us receive the report from my generals" Y/N said as he placed circular mirrors on the floor next to the table, a second later the mirrors glowed red as 6 holographic people formed above their mirrors as they all proceeded to kneel before Y/N
2 were Neara and Athowen, 2 more were Aryan and Leinas and the last 2 were Varolen (Red armoured blood spawn) and Dorellon (Black armoured blood spawn). "Rase your heads" Y/N commanded and they followed without a word
"We are here to share reports, Ainz will be listening as well, don't worry, he is my friend" Y/N said, inadvertently making the generals a little jealous, although they may spend time with Y/N and Salem, they didn't think they had the right to call themselves their friends, so the fact that this undead that only Leinas had seen was Y/Ns friend made them a little sad and jealous
"Let's start with the Holy Empire, how goes it there?" Y/N asked, ignoring their jealousy, Neara shook her before responding "Milord, we have taken all but the capital under our command as the false queen holds a strong influence here and has executed all that oppose her inside the city. Though it won't matter as the dragons have just dropped off 100 Elite knights onto the other side of the wall so that we may secure the gates. we will bring the false queen to your throne room once we are finished. All the knights that were captured have been sent through the portal you gave up and the transport was confirmed by a man named Demiurge"
"Good, and what of the Holy knights?", "The leader convinced the other two to join us so they are under my command, we examined their memories and they have no plan against us" Athowen responded, Y/N nodded before looking at Aryan "How goes the Deep elf battles/"
"Same as Neara, we have taken all the cities but the capital as they still hide behind their iron doors and shoot down on us with their arrows, we have however found a 'back entrance' so to speak. The mountains were they live are also inhabited by shovel footed centipedes that have dug into one of the closed-off corridors inside, we just need to widen the entrances then we will be able to infiltrate them" Y/N nodded and looked at the blood spawn, "And how is the... 'recruiting', going?"
"We have doubled in numbers and are prepared to march as soon as the command is given, until then we await your instructions" Dorellon spoke, "Hmm, start moving and take control of one of the high elf villages, do the same tactic you did with the holy empire, after that, await my commands" Y/N ordered"As for everyone else when you are finished with the wars, make sure all the citizens are working for us if they do not comply... send them to me, I am in need of uncorrupted energy"
They all bowed their heads before the connection was cut, Y/N then turned to Ainz "Besides from that, I would like to talk about a specific dungeons gate I want to create"
