"So... you're sending Cocytus in...on his own...with only a small amount of skeletons and zombies...as well as giving the lizard men 8 days to prepare?" Y/N asked Ainz "Do you mind if I ask why you are giving Cocytus such a handicap?", "Not at all my friend" Ainz went on to explain "I want to see if the NPCs can learn and 'evolve' by themselves. You see, if Cocytus loses he should be able to learn from his mistakes, and if he wins, we win all the same"

"Ahhh" Salem made a sound of understanding from next to Y/N before going back to drinking her glass of red wine "and here I was thinking you wanted to find a reason to punish him", "I would never try to find unfair reasons for punishment" Ainz said indignantly before huffing ('can a skeleton even huff' Y/N wondered)

"True, true" Salem responded, swirling the glass of wine, "Anyway, it is time to prepare the soldiers for Cocytus, then I have to go over some report about the construction of the dummy Nazarick, then I will go to Carne village for a small hol- I mean...to check how it is progressing...yes, that's what I meant" Ainz said before running off, leaving a sweat dropping Y/N and Salem

"Well...while he's doing that you want to go adventuring?" Salem asked, "Sure, let's go and fetch Nagini, then we can leave. It's getting a little boring around here lately" Y/N responded standing up before offering a hand to his wife

TIME SKIP

After teleporting to their personal area of the 7th floor Y/N and Salem spent around about half an hour looking for their 'pet'. "Where the hell is her nest? We've been looking for 30 minutes and still haven't found he-" Y/N was cut off from his rant when he fell down a hole that almost impossible to see, "YOU ALRIGHT Y/N" Salem shouted down the hole, "I'm alright...also...I found Nagini...tell me...what level was she the last time we saw her?" Y/Ns voice responded sounding very confused

"LEVEL 500 IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY...WHY?" Salem responded while unfurling her wings (A/N: in Prolog) and gliding down. When she reached her husband she saw him looking at the sleeping head of a 150 meter long Nagini "HOLY SH-" she was cut off when Nagini glowed black before shrinking and morphing into he human form (with the armor) only to instantly kneel and bow, "Hello my Masters, how may this servant serve you today?" she asked them, still looking at the ground

"Hello Nagini...you can stand up, and if you don't mind, telling us how you became LVL 1500?" Y/N asked, "Of coarse my master" She responded before going on to explain that she discovered that she has an ability called 'mothers consumption' which is basically a skill that whenever she absorbed a basilisk she created she would gain all their levels, but she could only do it once a week, so she had summoned the highest level basilisk she could then consumed it, gaining all the levels it had leaving her with a few hundred extra LVLs, she repeated this prosses yesterday and now she is LVL 1500

"Huh, neat trick" Y/N complemented before remembering why the came here "Anyway, we are here to ask if you would like to go adventuring with us, it's getting boring and we need entertainment until Cocytus attacks the lizardmen"

"I would be honored to go with you" Nagini responded, "Good, now stand up, we leave eminently...also gotta say, nice place you found, didn't even know we had it" Salem said looking around the massive cavern filled with purple crystals, "Thank you, Mistress" Nagini responded

TIME SKIP

*Squelch* "*huff* I was hoping for something at least a little challenging, I mean COME ON, we even limited ourselves to LVL 100 with these rings and there are still no challenges" Y/N complained "Its a super deadly monster, they said, even you will have trouble with it, they said, ITS STRONG ENOUGH TO TAKE OUT YOUR DAUGHTERS, THEY SAID, STRONG ENOUGH TO DESTROY THE WORLD, THEY SAID, AND ALL WE GET IS A WEAK LVL 90 SHIFTER TITEN...*huff* this is boring" Y/N mumbled at the end while stabbing it repeatedly out of boredom

"It's not that bad dear, we are passing the time and doing something productive for our future empire, not to mention it will raise our reputation tremendously among both the 'nobles' and common folk" Salem said while sitting on the dead titans head "Although I must agree they over-exaggerated the difficulty of this mission *sigh* now I want to start complaining as well"

"Masters, perhaps you should ask one of your grandchildren or even your daughters to spar if you are so bored, and if that doesn't work why not play that game Ainz was talking about...chess...I believe it was, or do something that challenges your brain, or go and invent things build things, then you would have something to do while also being productive" Nagini suggested

"Huh, why didn't we think of that?" Y/N asked Salem, "No idea, BUT I GOT PLANS ON WHAT TO BUILD" Salem yelled excitedly before she and Y/N started to talk so fast in a different language explaining their ideas to each other that Nagini sweatdropped at what she may have just unleashed upon the planet

"I feel like I have made a great but terrible mistake" She said to herself before looking at her Masters, who were busy drawing their plans on parchment that they got from who knows where...and they had already made a pile up to their knees of all their ideas "Yep, great but terrible"

"MASTERS, WOULDNT IT BE BETTER TO CLAIM THE REWARDS THEN MAKE YOUR PLANS BACK AT HOME?" she yelled to get their attention

"She's got a point" Salem said, "Then let's go" Y/N said before they both took off running towards the city with their papers in their inventory

"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR NAGINI, let's GO, GO, GO" Y/N yelled back to her, Nagini nearly shook her head in amusement before running after them
