Part 8- Bruises

"I really can't bear to see you take the defence of this bit*h!!"she yelled.

"What's going on here?" Ahmed arrived and looked at her worried.

"Zahara, what are you doing?" he asked her.

"It's none of your fuc*ing business!" she yelled at him this time.

He looked hurt but he was good at hiding it. Aslan turned to me cupping my face. I had this urge to push him away but I just let him. He looked into my eyes and for the first time, they softened. As if he cared about me. This is not okay but I am melting.

"Are you okay?" he asked his voice gentle.

I didn't have time to answer him because Ayla came in running towards me and pushed Aslan away from me with all her might. She took a look at my face shocked.

"Ya Allah! who did this to you?!" she asked in anger.

"It's fine Ayla—"

"No it's not!" she screamed as I slightly flinched. She never screamed this way before.

"You might be okay with all of this but I'm so fed up with it!" she turned to Ahmed who was trying to calm Zahara down.

"Is it her?! It must be her!" I didn't even have time to stop her when she ran to Zahara and pulled her hair.

Now, everyone was staring at the scene with their phones out, laughing and filming the scene of the girls fighting each other. This going to be viral on all platforms without a doubt.

Aslan and I were trying to stop Ayla but it was in vain. On the other had, Ahmed tried to pull Zahara away but it was in vain.

They kept fighting for a while when Miran arrived screamed at the whole crowd of students that the supervisor was coming. Everyone ran away to their classes immediately to avoid getting in trouble.

Then, he approached the girls and succeeded in pulling Ayla away from Zahara.

"That's enough" he snapped at her.

"Who are you to tell me it's enough?! HUH?! Look at her face! Your dumbass evil friend here did that okay?! So how about you take your friends and leave us alone before I make my way to the principal's office and snitch on your asses because I've had more than enough of you guys bothering my best friend!" she  yelled all that in one breath before coming to me, grabbing my arm and dragging me with her away from the scene.

Wow, I didn't know Ayla could get this mad. She has never been mad at me and we barely ever fight. This was the first time.

She dragged me out of the school and eventually stopped because we both needed to take a moment to catch our breaths. She turned to me placing her hands on her hips.

"I can't believe she did this to you Adalina,"

"Why did you have to kick her ass like that? What if you get in trouble?" I asked concerned about what might happen to her now.

"I don't care if I do get in trouble anymore Adalina! I'm going to fight them if they dare mess with us again because enough is enough!" she said in frustration.

"Listen it's doesn't have to be this way,"

"It does Adalina it does!—listen to me, from now on we won't let them do us dirty in any way, we will stay away from all of them at all cost and if they come for us than we will stand up for ourselves. I'm sick and tired of pretending to be weak you know me, I took kung-fu classes okay?! I can damn well defend myself!" she exclaimed.

I tried to keep my seriousness but I couldn't help but laugh out loud. Ayla being expressing herself this way is hilarious.

"What?! You're laughing!!" she said pushing me in a teasing way.
