As a child I always found fairy tales weird. I mean how could you instantly fall in love with somebody? The only reason the had Instantly fallen in love was because of the way they looked. They may of been extremely pretty or handsome. Thats the only reason it was love at first sight but as I grew up I started to feel like I was doing the same as those girls in the fairytales. Liking someone because of the way they looked. Lets be honest every single person does it. I mean you dont exactly straight away look at someone and fall in love with them if you dont find them attractive. It's just something that we do. Sometimes I look at my parents and think about why they even got together because I really can't see the spark between them,I mean they hardly saw each other anyway since they were both working but I had realised for a while now that my dad had been sleeping in the guest bedroom. It has become pretty obvious to me that they would be getting s divorce pretty soon. I smoked the weed and smiled at Charlie. I was on a high and it felt surprisingly good. I breathed out the weed and giggled. I was feeling weird. A good weird. I giggled again at Charlie. She was watching me and laughing.
"Charlie your so awesome for letting me experience this," I said in a dreamy sigh.
"I told you it was good."
"Damn right it is."
I looked out of the window and my eyes widened. It was a butterfly. So pretty.
"Look Charlie that is such a pretty butterfly,with colourful wings and it looks like it has a smiley face if you look at each side. Oh my god that is just amazing," I squealed.
She laughed and me and shook her head.
"Come sit back down."
I sat on her bed and lay down. Her room was big. Her parents were rich. Very rich. But like mine they were hardly ever home and lucky for us they were out. I felt somethig vibrate from the inside of my pocket.I took it out and smiled. Nathan was calling. Nathan as in my boyfriend nathan! He was so amazing too like even more amazing then the butterfly. He was like a human butterfly. I answered the phone.
"Hey Nathan," I squealed.
Charlie immediately turned around and waved her arm over her neck,signalling for me to stop. I shushed her and listened to Nathans sexy voice. It was so manly and sent shivers down my spine every time I heard it,especially when he sang.
"Nathan your voice is beautiful,just beautiful," I said into the phone.
"Perrie? Are you okay you sound a bit weird," He asked in a concerned tone.
"Im fine in fact I feel amazing."
"Perrie this is going to sound really weird but you sound like your high and I no you'd never be high so don't bite my head off for sayi-"
"Nope I'm definitely high," I interrupted him.
Charlie widened her eyes and slammed her palm over her forehead.
"WHAT? PERRIE WHERE ARE YOU.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOUR HIGH," he shouted down the phone.
"Chill out dude. It's actually really relaxing and nice. All the little things in life seem so much better and Im pretty much forgetting all about the bigger issues I have in my life right now," I told him.
"Perrie you need to tell me where you are," Nathan ordered in a calm voice.
"It doesn't matter Nathan Im happy just leave me to explore all the tinsy winsy things I can see," I said and ended the call. He was going to kill me but oh well. I went over to Charlie and hugged her.
"You are so great Charlie. We should do this again like daily," I said.
"Erm let's not get too ahead of ourselves," She laughed.
I grinned and bounced on to her bed again. I lay down into her pillow and felt tired. I lay down and let my eyes close.

I opened my eyes and groaned. My head was hurting and I didn't know where I was. I rubbed my eyes and the memories of last night came back. Oh Sh*t I had my first high! I f*cking smoked weed. Oh god,oh god,oh God! I shook my head and sighed. I jumped off the bed and quickly went into the bathroom. I washed my face and pulled on my trainers. I slept in the clothes I came in so atleast I didn't need to get changed. I pulled my hair into a messy bun and made my way to Charlie's front door. I quickly went to my car and thankfully found my keys in the pocket of my hoodie. I was in no mood for school so instead of making my way there I turned down the road that would lead me home. I opened my glove compartment and searched for my sun glasses whilst the lights were red. I quickly put them over my eyes to shield them from the sun. I looked like a homeless drug dealer. Literally. I stank of weed and was in desperate need of a shower. I got out of my car and opened my front door quietly to avoid anyone hearing me. As I turned around from unlocking the door I saw Nathans cold hard face.
"Where the f*ck have you been Perrie.I was so worried about you,your lucky I didn't tell your parents," He said in a worried tone.
"Calm down dude I was sleeping at a friends and I may of gotten a tinsy bit high but I'm fine." Okay so maybe I lied. I wasn't a tinsy bit high,I got very high but I wasn't about to tell him that.
I turned my head and saw my brother running down the stairs.
"The f*ck Perrie do you understand how worried weve been. You don't just disappear for the entire night after telling Nathan your high! Where did you even get the drugs from?!" Alex questioned.
Nathan Stared at me and shook his head.
"You got it from that girl didn't you the one you were asking me about,Charlie I think," He stated.
"So what if I did I just wanted something to take the edge off you guys are making such a big deal out of this,im fine now arent I."
"Maybe you are fine Perrie but drugs are not something you wanted to get mixed up with,I know that for sure." Nathan said whilst Alex nodded his head.
"Ok chill I just want to take a shower and get some fresh air if that's okay with the two of you," I said as I made my way upstairs.
Nathan gently grabbed my arm which made me turn around.
"Perrie promise me your never going to do drugs again,Please?" he urged.
I nodded my head.
"Okay I promise," I told him.
He nodded his head and hugged me. Nathan was kind of like my own drug. My own safe drug. He made me feel happy and forget about my problems.
"I love you," I told him.
He grinned
"I love you too," He replied.

After I had finished getting ready I decided to go back to school even though they're was only lunch and two lessons left. I got out of my car and locked it. I made my way to the cafeteria and sat in my usual seat. I was a couple of minutes early for lunch so I used the time wisely to get at the front of the lunch line. Although their attempt at chicken and pasta was horrible it was better than getting stuck with having soggy rice and soy beans. I got out my phone whilst I waited for the bell to go so I would be served. I texted Julia that I was here and the bell went.The Cafeteria quickly became a room full of noisy teenagers and The lunch line quickly filled up. I was quickly served and I went back to my normal place.
"Hey Perrie where were you this morning?" Julia asked.
"I had a dentist appointment," I lied. Now was not a good time to tell my best friend that last night I got very p*ssed.
I played around with the watery pasta and moved it around my plate. I put a few mouthfuls into my mouth and pushed the plate away. This food was torture. I turned around and saw a freshman walking towards me. It was Matt Olsen. I had recognised him from when I went with Nathan to watch him do the Lacrosse try outs with Alex. Every year all the freshamans who tried out for lacrosse and made it into the team were unfortunately made into slaves of the seniors. Literally anything the seniors wanted the freshmans did it. It was quite funny to be honest.
"Hey Your Perrie right?" He asked.
"Yeah I am why?" I replied.
"Nathan Vanderson told me to give this to you," He smiled.
A huge grin made its way to my face. It was a box of pizza. My one true love,pizza.
I thanked him and opened up the box.
I looked up at the top of the box and found the biggest grin ever make its self to my face.
"I know this is cheesy but will you go to prom with me"
The top of the box read. I felt a pair of arms tightened around my waist.
"So will you," He asked.
"Of course I will," I said and kissed his cheek. I really didn't want us to have a make out session in front of the whole school. He held my hand as we sat down.
"Wanna share some pizza guys?" I asked. Since I was in such a great mood I decided to share my pizza although I usually wouldn't share it with anyone.

"Im just going to the bathroom Perrie," Nathan said as he got up from the table.
I nodded and turned back to my friends.
"So Perrie when did You and Nathan do the deed?" Ben asked.
I felt my cheeks go bright red.
"Erm,"
"You've not done it with him yet?!" He exclaimed.
"What is that such a bad thing?" I asked.
"Yes you've gotten this serious with him ,you've even said I love you to each other and you've not even had sex!" He stated.
"I know but I don't know if we're ready for that yet," I said.
"Trust me your ready. I think you should do after prom like literally hire a hotel room and everything," Julia chipped in.
"I don't know guys,I think we're ready but I don't know what if things change," I said.
"If you both feel ready it'll go fine trust me," Ben Explained.
"Ok guys I think we should stop talking about my sexual life,I don't want the whole cafeteria to know what we might be doing after prom," I told.
The laughed and carried on eating.
The idea of having sex with Nathan didn't make me feel uncomfortable but it didn't make me get butterflies in the pit of my stomach.
