Esme and I were driving back to the house "The flowers she gave you are nice, but it is weird that she got the flowers when there were no poppies near or" then it hit me "the Victorian flower language the poppy means 'I am not free' it must be a coincidence" I gave her a grave look as we turned up the driveway "Esme you know I am not promising anything we should talk about it with everyone after you eat something" I looked at her deep in her dark black eyes as I stopped the car to let her out.
I quickly called for everyone to come into the living room "There was a child at the fair today that Esme has taken a strong liking to" I continued to tell everyone about Dawn "I wanted to give her to Esme as a gift"
"How are we going to explain to her about us" Edward was highly sceptical of the idea
"She will not find out, but if she does she ends up becoming one of us when she is seventeen" Alice quickly interrupted "Come on let's hurry up and vote, I say yes"
"I am not going to argue with Alice, I will just have to try and control myself" It was clear that Jasper was against the idea but like he said he was not going to argue with Alice
"I guess it would be nice to have her" I knew how much Rosalie wanted a child and this was her chance
"Of course I want a new sister"
"Fine" Edward had more of a choice as the others had mates and were not willing to argue but Edward was the only single member of the family
"Great, let's just try and keep this a secret from Esme I want to to be a surprise
