"ew."

kara nodded "i agree!"

"well, uhm, i'm going to chipotle in like ten. i'll be in my car taking care of something but if you want to go, be ready."

kara nodded, happy that someone finally cared about her needs. faye just groaned out something that sounded like a "sure", the small girl hopped off the couch and kicked faye gently.

"baby, stop crying over white dick. i wanna go get food."

faye groaned but sat up, "there's the spirit!" kara encouraged

"ugh, shut up."

"well bitch i was trying to be nice."

"help me up?" faye tried with a smile

"you were just rude to me."

the girl put out her hand anyway and kara complied pulling her up as best as she could.

walking to the car, chris was in there humming to music patiently. kara hopped in the back while faye flopped into the front seat. chris didn't say anything but started pulling out the driveway. eventually, he turned down the music.

"who's the boy?" he asked curiously

kara stayed silent leaving it to faye if she was gonna say anything or not.

"it's complicated." the girl chose her words carefully

"i didn't ask the situation, i asked who it was." he laughed slightly, "come on don't be like that. you're acting like i care about your little high school drama. i'm just interested in your life."

"well, uh," faye started nervously, "it's vinnie."

chris scoffed, "isn't that selene's boyfriend?"

"like i said, it's complicated." she shrugged

kara had been silent for too long, her mind had wondered towards her friends situation ... and her own.

"yeah but she had this thing with a girl for a bit." kara included

"barely,"

"aren't you just-"

"i'm not anything," faye interrupted "allison and i haven't even spoken since..." she trailed off

"since what?" chris pushed her on

"since i got high with her and selene called her out for being careless." she answered quietly

that earned a laugh from her older brother, "interesting. but you know that was careless of you too, right?"

"of course."

"yeah and then vinnie brought her home. and oh my god! he remembered her favorite planet!" kara over exaggerated the end, giving a lovely dovey tone that was obviously sarcastic

"how many boys would remember your favorite planet!" faye defended

"not many," chris added

"exactly."

"but not many people have favorite planets."

"exactly." the girl in the back answered that time

faye huffed out a breath of air.

"look, i'm not saying anything cause i don't really know anything. but be careful, don't get yourself or your best friend hurt over a guy."

"i would never." the girl declared "selene means too much to me."

the car became silent after that. faye looking out the window, chris driving, and kara deep in thought.

"what even happened between you and vinnie?" she decided to ask

"you know what,"

"uh no i don't. i know you two, you know,"

"oh my god!" chris exclaimed "you lost your virginity to him?"

"god." faye groaned

"anyway, i know you two did the nasty. but i don't know anything that lead up to that. so?"

faye thought for a second.

"i'll tell you after we get the food."

i guess...

i guess this was a filler chapter? i don't know, but i'm trying to figure out how many chapters i want and plan them out. but the next two chapters will probably be flashbacks. anyway, leave some comments/vote besties 😩
