Chapter 19:

[1 week later]

“Hey?” Jimin said calling my attention, I was too busy texting V that evening, Jimin and I are out on date you see, but my attention was all on my phone that night. V and I have gotten really close with each other recently so I can’t help but get distracted when I’m with Jimin, I mean I know V has someone he likes right now but I just really like talking to him.

“Yeah?” I replied, he raised his eyebrow at me

“Did we agree no phones during our dates” he asked me, I chuckled then placed my phone back into my pocket

“I’m sorry, I was being insensitive” I told him

“So I was hoping we’d drop by my house for a movie?” He asked me, I couldn’t help but smile at his suggestion, I nodded in response

“I would like that” I said, he smiled brightly at me, we got up from our seats and headed to Jimin’s place

We headed inside and to see no one was home, I wonder where Jimin’s parents are? I headed inside with Jimin escorting me, he then led me upstairs. I sat down on his bed, his room was huge! We’ve been dating for months now but this is the first time I have ever seen his room, it was big and really clean and well organized, there were weight lifting equipment on the corner of his room, no wonder he’s so buff.

“My parents are out on a business trip and won’t be back until Wednesday” he explained, I just nodded in response.

“So what movie are we watching?” I asked him

“I was hoping we’d just talk, you know, snuggle a little” he said, I couldn’t help but blush as he said that.

“Alright” was all I could answer, he then laid down beside me. he tucked my hair behind my ear and landed his lips on mine.

It went on like this for a few minutes then Jimin started getting a little too playful with his hands. His hands started to wonder, it slid down from my neck to my back until it reached somewhere above my butt, but I just let it slide.

Just before Jimin was about to grab my breast my phone started ringing. I quickly broke apart from Jimin and pulled out my phone, he groaned in frustration.

“I have to take this” I told him, he whined like a little boy, I couldn’t help but laugh at him “Hello?” I answered

“Hello is this Park Lei?” he asked

“Yes this is Lei” I answered

“I’m Dr. Do Young Min, I have terrible news, I’ll be direct with you.” he said to me, I carefully listened to what he was going to say, my heart was racing terribly, I’m scared of what news he will bring “Your father Park Jung Soo, have suffered a heart attack and has passed away this morning” he said

My jaw dropped, it felt like my whole world fell apart at that very moment, tears started to fall down my face, I covered my mouth with my hand. I was completely dumbfounded at that moment, but he was doing so well last week

“Lei?” Jimin asked as he got up from bed and headed towards me.

“I’ll be there in the morning” I said in between sobs to Dr. Do and hung up, Jimin wrapped his arms around me, I couldn’t help but cry harder as he hugged me. he did not say anything, all he did was stroke my back trying to calm me down.
