"Out of all the things you have could have done, you start crying." Peter stated angrily.

Sanyukta bite her cheek feeling embarrassed.

"Not in front of them " Sanyukta pointed.

"You could have slapped her caked face right there before asking how was that, bish? "

Sanyukta smile with a little "pff"

" I'm serious. You could have pulled out her extensions in middle of a lobby, or maye push right into her fake chest." Peter added.

It made sanyukta laughed more.

"I swear I didn't like that women from the day I met her. She was totally caked and God, her voice was soooo.... Annoying. " Peter sang frustratingly.

"I know." sanyukta sang along, feeling a little better now.

"Out of all the girls Randhir has ever bring home, she is the only one I wanted to snap  neck in her sleep." Peter jokes.

"But isn't she is his girlfriend? So why would he bring other girls? " Sanyukta enquired.

"Not at all. She pretends that she is his girlfriend. When in reality she was just a one night stand mistake who won't leave him alone now." Peter muttered hatefully as if remembering something.

"God that women tag along him everywhere. Trips, parties, charity. Everywhere." Peter was hell annoyed now.

"Why would he let her?" Sanyukta couldn't believe it.

"Long story short. Aamayra father is Randhir's buisness partner. Kind of clíche I know." Peter sighed.

Oh. So now it was making some sense.

"Is your phone vibrating?" Peter ask sanyukta.

Sanyukta dig out her phone from her little bag and saw an unknown number. She dead ass click the red button.

Peter was amused. "It could be an important call."

"Then it will come again. And nobody calls me other than aunt Zara." Sanyukta said thoughtfully.

"And Peter, I am really thankful  for you to be here. You are an angel." Sanyukta was genuinely grateful for Peter who had come to get her as soon as she called.

"Oh come on. I was already running on your first sentence." Peter laughed.

"Peter, can you pick me up........... please."

Peter repeated her sentence in the sane tone she said in a heavy voice which come after a lot of crying. He avoid telling her that Randhir was the first to call him and tell him to pick her up from office.

"And that little sniff on the end almost made me cross the speed limit." Peter mocked.

Sanyukta smiled totally embarrassed.

"We can still take a turn and I will be delighted to knock some sense in her..." Peter offered.

"No. Please let's just go home." Sanyukta requested.

"We aren't going home yet. I want to show you something." Peter smiled excitingly.

"Really?" Now sanyukta was excited too.

They continue driving for some minutes before Peter stop infront of a huge restaurant.

Sanyukta was first to get out of the car to have a look at the building.

"God, it's so beautiful and so  cute. Those three muffins at the top almost took my heart away." Sanyukta exclaimed lovingly.

"But Peter," sanyukta face fell. "It's closed."

She turn around to see Peter looking at her with a wide smile. He lift his finger up and there was a key dingling in his finger.

Oh my God! She didn't knew what to say.

"Open it." Peter offered.

"Me?" Sanyukta asked. "I would love to." Sanyukta took the keys and walked to the doors effortlessly.

Unlocking the doors, she was first to enter.

"Wooohhh!"

It was huge. Right now sanyukta was looking like a kid in museum.

"I love it." Sanyukta said talking about the interiors.

"Me too." Peter said looking at sanyukta.

"Is this your's?" Sanyukta asked excited. Peter nodded.

"Congratulations." Sanyukta tried to engulf Peter's big body in a hug.

Sanyukta felt so small in his embrace. She was almost covered in his warmth. Almost.

"When are you going to open it?" Sanyukta asked him excitedly.

"I was thinking, maybe on Zara's coming birthday. What do you think?" Peter asked.

"Hell yes." Sanyukta beamed with happiness. She never knew she could be this happy after a terrible start of the day.

Peter fell silent after that. Sanyukta walked to him and asked "what's wrong?"

"It was my childhood dream." Peter said slowly. "I had seen bad days. Very bad days and I never thought I would be able to own this or any other thing ever. But now ... I can."

It made sanyukta heart melt. Sanyukta didn't asked more about his past she knew he would tell if he want to.

"I'm so proud of you." Sanyukta looked at him lovingly.

"But what I dreamt of was far small then this....but ..." Peter took a pause.

"Randhir made it seem like so easy." Peter sighed.

Wait!

"What do you mean?" Sanyukta heart came to a rest.

"I used to visit Randhir's place when my mum just started working for Shekhawat family. Randhir and i were small back then. We kind of played together many times. During those days we used to talk. Talk a lot. We told each other about our dreams and goals. At that time, around ten years ago I merely mentioned that I want to be a chef when I grow up and maybe own a little restaurant when I get older" Peter was smiling now as if clearly remembers the conversation.

"And you know what Randhir did? He gifted this restaurant to Maria on her last birthday. " Peter laughed.

It puzzled sanyukta.

"He didn't gave it directly to me because he knew I would never ever accept it. It will harm my pride." Peter looked around the walls.

"I love this place." Peter bite his lip as if stopping his tears.

Sanyukta rub his arms affectionately.

"I owe him. I owe him a big time sanyukta. Even in our past times." Peter looked down at her.

"You are going to make him very very proud." Sanyukta smiled at him before engulfing him in a hug again.

They stayed like this for a minute before a question began to sting her mind like a bee.

"What was Randhir's dream?" Sanyukta was curious.

"He had only one goal and one dream from the very start." Peter told her.

"To bring his grandparents back."

Thank you so much.
