We had two more hours to go but before that, we decided to take a little break. I joined the girls this time and sat on a huge rock taking out my water bottle from my bag.
Aslan and Fazal did not sit but just stood there waiting for us.
"Aren't you guys tired? Don't you want to sit?" Andrea asked them.
"I'm fine," Fazal said while Aslan completely ignored her question.
We got back on the track a few minutes later. To be honest, my legs were hurting a bit. It's not like I do this every day. It's pretty self-demanding and it's an exercise which I never do.
"You okay?" Aslan asked me.
He did not just ask me for the first time if I was doing good. Is he showing care? Hard to believe.
"I'm okay," I said.
"Should I take you?" he asked.
"What?" I did not just hear that.
"Do you need me to pick you up?" he asked.
I could feel the girls mumbling things.
"No!" I immediately declined.
"Are you sure?" he asked.
"I'm completely fine!" I reassured him.
Two hours later, we made it to our destination and saw a few groups who had arrived as well and the teachers were already here.
Now, it was time to install the tents and rest for some of us.
"The girls and I will sleep together," Noor said grabbing my arm and pulling me with her and the other girls.
"I have to sleep with him?" Fazal pointed at Aslan.
"Well, you're not going to be sleeping with us then, are you?"Andrea asked raising her eyebrows.
He sighed before going to install his tent. I hope Aslan won't beat him up again.
The girls and I worked together and made up the tent. They are actually pretty nice I was sure it would be like last year. I was a total reject and no one wanted to talk to me or work together with me.
Once the tent was up, we could smell the scent of wood as the sun was setting down I noticed a fire had been made. It wasn't that cold just a bit chilly.
The girls and I went to sit and talk around the fire with the others while waiting for dinner.
That's when it hit me...where is Ayla?
I stopped immediately at the thought of her and panic rose in me. I ran to one of the teachers and asked them if everyone had completed the hiking.
"Hold on, let me check the attendance list," the teacher said.
She took a look at it and I saw the worry on her face.
"Oh, you're right there's a team missing" she exclaimed.
I knew it! My gut feeling was right.
"What do we do?! Should we go back into the forest to look for them?!" I asked.
"No dear, we're going to have to call security, we can't go back into the forest at this time," she said dialling a number on her phone.
I was stressing my life at the moment.
As the teacher was waiting for someone to answer her call, I saw some students yelling but I couldn't hear what but they sounded worried. The teacher and I made our way to the group of students gathered together and that's when we saw Miran holding Ayla in his arms.
