CHAPTER TWO

Tara's POV
Why the hell was he so possessive of me?
He didn't know anything about me.
We are only acquaintances, nothing more and he was calling me his.

I was in bed pondering all these things, but it's what Dan said when Aiden called me his. He said I didn't knowshe wasyour...

He didn't know I was Aiden's what? I needed find out one way or another.

Aiden's POV
"She's my mate" I thought to myself.

I can vividly remember every detail of her body.

Her soft face, somewhat luminous, had a pale tone to it and she had high cheekbones. Her eyes were a piercingly sharpe shade of grey, set symmetrically into her face. Her eyebrows were arched over the curve before dispersing onto the bridge of her dainty nose. Her soft lips were pink and plump, they had the strangest curl to them. This enchanting face was framed by dark chocolate colored curls, enthralling to her hips.

Her figure, slender, her general shape is a toned, hourglass figure defining her chest and hips which are of moderate, if not winding 'definition'. She is a feathery woman, but owns too, many womanly curves that are upheld with a firm youth.

She's perfect and she's mine, all mine.

I couldn't help but to admire her body when she excited the pool, but I was furious when I heard her squeal Dan's name and he held her in his arms.
He held what was mine in his arms.
What belonged to me.
What was destined to be mine, forever.

I was furious at the thought. I could feel my wolf taking over but I couldn't let him out.

Dan was one of my pack members and he lived in the pack house.

My father is the Alpha of the Red Water pack and I was next in line to lead my pack, but I decided I wanted to complete school before taking the responsibility of leading the pack.

"Aiden" I heard my mother shout from downstairs, knocking me out of my thoughts.

" I'm upstairs, in my room. Come on up Mother".
Knock knock.

"Come in" I said.

"Hey Aiden, how are you?" Mom said.
I saw the concern in her eyes. I had been a little sheltered from everyone in the pack house.

Trying to figure out how to tell her I am a werewolf.

That she was my mate.

That she was destined to be with me forever.

That when I became Alpha, she would have to take on the responsibilities of being their Luna.

This was going to be one of the hardest things that I would have to do.

" I am ok mom. I have something to tell you though, I found my mate" I said with a smile plastered on my face.

"Aiden" she shrieked and gave me a hard slap on my arm, I flinched. "Who's the lucky werewolf?" She said.

My smile slowly started to disappear. She lifted my chin and asked "What's wrong son?" I replied "She is not a werewolf, she is a human".

"Human?" she murmured.

"Yes" I chuckled at her astonishment.

"So have you told her that, you're a... werewolf" she whispered.

"Nope. Not yet". I replied.

"Well... the best of luck my son" she said while pinching my cheeks. "I hope I get to meet her soon. So the two of you can start the mating process and make me some grand kids" I saw how her eyes lit up and her smile was from ear to ear and it was plastered on her face.

"Slow down mother, one step at a time".
