Silence. That was what I was met with the moment I entered the car. And I mean it wasn't any old silence it was deafening. Scar barely waited for me to have my second foot in the car and my door wasn't even closed when the car took off.

I wanted to scream at him for taking off so fast but by the colour of his knuckles clenching the wheel I knew now was not the time. I couldn't help but stare at him and think back to what had just happened back in my room. Did this mean that Scar actually wanted me? Or was he just using me? I was pulled out of my thoughts when Scar ran a red light.

Scar was driving like a maniac and by now i knew I either had to do or say something. "Can you slow down please" I mumbled , afraid to trust my voice.

He side eyed me and slowly lifted his foot off of the accelerator. His knuckles were still white and his whole body was ridged.

We soon arrived to the club, Scar jumped off the minute the ignition was off. I collected my bag and went straight in. Beck and Drew met me at the door the two of them smiling wickedly at me.

They both looked at one another and grabbed one of my arms each and dragged me to the staff room. There lying on the table was a black diamond bag, I looked at both of them and they nodded their head encouragingly at me. I carefully picked up the bag and inside was a personalised T-shirt for work and a pair of bicycle shorts.

"We knew you hated the skirt" drew smiled at me. "And it's saves us from having to throw guys out all the time because they're hitting on you" Beck joked. I ran towards them and engulfed their bulky bodies into a hug. "Thank you both so much" I wholeheartedly said to them while my face was mushed into one of their hard chests.

I released them from a hug to notice them both holding their ear pieces closely to their ears. "We got to baby cakes but we'll see you out there okay?" Drew half smiled at me asking. I nodded and they were gone.

I put the clothes into my locker and braced myself for the night ahead. I pushed open the room and the music hit me. Deep breaths Zara deep breaths.

I ducked below the bench into the bar and was met with a sweaty Jackson. "Ahhhh Zara finally I've been on my own all night". A flashback of Scar and I at my house flashed through my mind and I suddenly felt awful for delaying and leaving Jackson here.

I quickly got to taking orders and gave the hard orders to Jackson because I still wasn't trained in for the cocktails. "Jackson where's Scar?" I had to ask it was bugging me that he thought he could just act like that and leave Jackson and I here to deal with the huge crowd.

"He's a meeting in the office with someone he didn't say who" I looked to his office to see the light was on but couldn't see anyone inside.

I noticed in Jackson's ear that he had one of those ear pieces as well. "Jackson any chance I could borrow your earpiece" I asked hopefully. He looked at me skeptically but nevertheless handed it over to me. I plopped the ear piece in my ear and I could hear a conversation going on.

I nudged Jackson asking could they hear me, he nodded and smirked I could practically see the curiosity pooling in his eyes. "Hey yall" I couldn't help but laugh at the silence that I was met with.

"Baby cakes is that you" I could hear the confusion in Drew's voice. "The one and only". "Wait hold on how did she get an ear piece" I was guessing that was  Dax talking due to the venom he used when he said my name. "Oi Dax shut the fuck up being an ass" I was thankful for Beck standing up for me because when it came to Dax even looking into his cold green eyes was enough to shut me up.

"I'm taking out my ear piece use the walkie if something happens" Dax's voice rang through. I could hear the sigh from the two boys. "I'm sorry I thought it would be a bit of fun" I was disheartened I didn't want Dax to leave because of me.

"Hey baby cakes don't mind him he's just got a stick up his ass lately" Drew tried to reassure me. " Zara let us tell your out pick up lines for the ladies" I could tell Beck was trying to take my mind off of it. "Sure why not just don't make me laugh while I'm taking an order" I warned, they both laughed and I knew I was screwed.

An hour later and I had made a fool of myself multiple times due to either laughing and dropping a drink or laughing and the customer thinking it was at them.

"Okay okay what about my names Microsoft think I can crash at yo.... Beck on Scars office now they're leaving escort them out" I could here the authority in Drew's voice. I could of swore I heard a crack in my neck by how fast I turned to Scars office.

Low and behold there was a tall woman in a navy jumpsuit she had her hair tied into a high ponytail and looked way to professional to be in a club dressed like that. She had a guy that I thought I recognised beside her dressed just like the security here.

I didn't know whether to look away but I wish I did when she leaned into the door and hugged Scar and kissed him on the cheek but lingered there longer than necessary and the same for Axel but no kiss. "Zara can you come to the staff room please" Axels voice rang through my ear piece.

I was frozen in place and he was staring at me while Scar went back into his office and Beck escorted the two out. All I wanted to do was go home.

I quickly text into my group chat of John, Jessica and Vanessa to see if one of them could pick me up. Fuck Scar if he thinks he can drop me home after everything that has happened today.
