When Jamila got home, her mom rushed over to shut the door and asked if she was being followed.
"No, I wasn't," Jamila responded but she wasn't completely sure of that herself.
"I heard there were two of those Potesta's at school," She said with the most worry a person can have in their voice.
"Uh, yeah there were, but don't worry they didn't do anything" After Jamila said this she played lunchtime through her head again, he didn't need to know, she thought to herself.
A few weeks later when she was sure her mother had forgotten about that day, she packed everything she needed while her mother was asleep, She packed her clothes, some food, and a bunch of other necessities. She left her mom a note so she wouldn't freak out. She was going to miss her, but she had to do this. no one else was going to take a step. She climbed out the window in her room and met Isabella outside.
"Ready?" She asked looking up at her.
"I thought you were joking that day at lunch."
Jamila grinned. They started their grand adventure, but they had to walk so there would be no trace of them.
