I woke up and headed downstairs instantly

While making my way to the kitchen I texted Jaden when the event was gonna start and where to meet him

He told me to come at 8pm and to meet him in the back left side of the room

I texted him back with an okay and proceeded to make my cereal as Vinnie's footsteps came closer

He was all dressed up in a suit and tie

"Hey baby where you going" I asked getting a spoon, placing it in my bowl full of cereal

"I'm gonna have to leave for two days baby" he said and I frowned a bit

"Let me guess it's for super top secret serious business" I said smiling and he chuckled at my joke

"Yes it's really important and top secret. I'll call you every night I promise" he said pecking my forehead

"We'll see" I said and he left

I sighed in relief not having to lie and tell Vinnie that I have to go out tonight

I went in with my day until I had to get ready.

Jaden told me not to wear something out of the box like I always do

I'm assuming he knows that from his minions watching me

I walked outside and got into my car driving to the address which took me almost an hour

I finally pulled up to the event to see Jaden

"You finally came" he said smiling as I opened my car door

I gave him a smirk and got out lightly closing my door and locking my car

"If I knew it would be out here I would've drove earlier" I said and he grabbed my hand leading me into the event

It was a bar that was renovated by a rich man because he was celebrating something

I had to be by Jaden's side as a plus one so I could get in and we had to act like a couple for a while before fully entering

This other mafia was there and the diamond was in this cage behind the bar part so that's where I needed to go

"Jaden I'm going to go and head to the bathroom" I said and he grabbed my hand

"Don't back out now. I want you back right after your business in the bathroom" he said before letting it go and I headed off

I got in and looked at the mirror that's when I noticed the necklace Vinnie gave 𝚖𝚎

I grabbed the confidence to finally go back out there and Jaden quickly grabbed me

"There he is coming out. All you need to do is tell the bartender that you're the wife of the owners bar" he said and I nodded my head in understanding

*After successfully getting the diamond because I literally got stuck**

I walked over to Jaden and he looked at me

"You get it?" he whispered and I shook my head yes

"Seems like I'm not useless at all" I said smiling and he scoffed

"I'm surprised you're still alive" he said making both of us laugh

"Let's go before anyone notices" I say and he grabbed my hand leading me outside to my car

"Here" I say quickly handing him the diamond and he put it in his pocket

I got in my car and rolled down my window as Jaden came to my level

"You and Vinnie good now??" I asked

"He still owes me the other half, but he definitely picked the right women" he said making me smile and we stared into each other's eyes

I snapped out of the gaze and started my car

"Bye" I said politely quickly backing out and pulling off into the road
