A day out..

     Kim's POV
       It's Saturday and it's 7 am.. We're leaving for the water park in the afternoon according to Daniel and the others... Gotta get home now!!
"Stephanie.. Yo,I'm leaving... I have some stuff to get from the house" I tell her as I wake her up
"Morning... Ummm can I come with??" She asks
"Sure,but you're not ready" I say
"I'll be quick" she says as she gets up and heads to the bathroom
          I sit on my bed and I call Jake
"Morning Jake"
"Morning Kim... How was your night" he says yawning
"Fine,thank you... Hope you're up??" I tell him..
"Nah... Your call woke me up. But,I'll get up soon though" he says
"Cool... I'm heading home with Steph now" I tell him
"Oh.. OK.. What for??" He asks
"Oh,just wanna grab a few clothes and stuff.. And say hi to mom too" I say
"Oh. Cool.. Pick nice outfits" he says and I swear I can see a smirk
"Lol." I say
"You still hear from your dad??" He asks
"Yah... I do,spoke to him last night.. He's gonna be home in a few weeks" I say
"Cool.. Send my regards" he says
"Yah" I say
"Excuse me Jake" "Steph!!!!!! We gotta go" I yell
"Woah Kim... My eardrums... Your scream pierced through my ears from over the phone" he yells
"Sorry" I say. "It's OK" he replies
"So... I'll see you later,then??" He asks
"Duhhh" I say
"Bye..." We say in unison..

    Steph and I are in the car; I'm driving while she's on the passengers seat...
"So..... Is your dad back??" She asks breaking the silence
"No... In a few weeks" I say focusing on the road
"Oh... Ok then" she says
  
Y'all might think Stephanie is my female best friend cause of how we share stuff and all.. But,she's just my close friend in school... My female best friend since when we were very  little is Lucy... Don't worry,you'll meet her soon. She's in a different school and I only get to see her on holidays or on skype...

"We're home!!!" I yell
"Yah baby" Stephanie yells in excitement

I walk over to the front door and ring the bell with Stephanie behind me giggling like a child on Christmas

"Hey mommy" I say as I hug my mom tightly
"Darling.. You didn't tell me you were visi-" she pauses
"Stephanie.. Dear,how are you?" She asks as Steph runs to hug her tightly cause she doesn't see her as frequently as I do
"I'm good... How are you??" She asks
"I'm fine dear.. Come in guys" my mom says gesturing inside.
My mom has always been lively... She encourages me  and all... She doesn't deprive me of having friends or going out with them... She's just wonderful,we get along well except when we argue about some stuff😑

"I was just making breakfast!!" She says as she heads to the kitchen
"Ooooo... OK What's for breakfast then??" I say snooping around the kitchen,opening pots
"Oh,just made some muffins so I can have with coffee.. Then I started making some toast" she says
"OK... I want all of that!" I say as my eyes widen
"OK dear" "Stephanie.. You okay?" she asks
"Yes ma..  I am"she says with a smile
"OK.. Just know our home is your home" she says.
Steph just smiles at her statement
  "Mom... We've got an outing today so we came home to get some clothes,but I knew we couldn't leave without you giving us breakfast" I say pecking her
"Outing?? Cool.. To where??" She asks
"Water park" I tell her casually
"OK then.. Have fun"she says Heading back to her cooking
Upstairs (in my room)
"Didn't Adrian hear I was home?" I say to Steph wandering through my wardrobe

Adrian's my younger brother... He lives with my parents.. Duh

     "I don't know.. Maybe he's sleeping or he's having them teenage mood swings" she says smirking
"Lol.. You're right" I say "But I'll say hi before we leave"
Steph and I pack swimsuits and some shorts with some crop tops for the park.. We also take some shades and Hats... Stephanie has a bag in my room where she has clothes in and even shoes... Lol

We have breakfast with mom and I go upstairs to check on Adrian
I knock on the door and he doesn't respond so I just go in.
"Hey" I say but he doesn't hear me because of the headphones in his ears. No wonder.  I tap him and as soon as he looks back.. His eyes widen
"Hey sis" he says getting up "Missed ya" he adds
"Missed ya too... I'll be coming home frequently now,OK??" I say
"Sure" "You came for something?? Cause you normally spend most Saturdays in school" he says
"Yah... Came to grab a few stuff,that's all" I say
"OK then" he says
"So.. I'm off Adrian.. I'll call you later. Sorry I can't stay,I gotta go. Bye" I say
"It's OK... Bye" he says as he turns back to his video game
