Alice's POV...
"Can I come too?" I ask Daniel..
I'm having lunch with some of Daniel's friends,and they're discussing this resort vacation that they're planning.

"No,champ.. You can stay here with Carter" he says rolling his eyes.

"That's a sensitive topic" I say hitting his arm

"So,neither of you have confessed?" Kim asks biting a burger

"No,Kim.. It's gonna take a lot of gut to do that" I reply

"Well,you need to summon courage soon" Stephanie says
I just shrug..

"So,dudes.. How many days are we staying for?" Jake asks like he didn't hear what we've been talking about..

"I'm thinking a week" Stephanie suggests

"Y'all are gonna be gone for a week?" I ask surprised

"Yes," Jake says sipping his juice "I mean,we just wrote our final exams,and convocation day is coming,so.. That's more than enough reason to go on a vacation.. Our brains have been stressed out" he finishes dramatically

"And,Jake also needs to show off his rough coils" Kim giggles

I just roll my eyes

"Yup.. My new hair cut needs to be flexed" he replies

"So,are we taking individual cars?" Stephanie asks

"That'll be too stressful" Daniel sighs

"Yup" I chip in

"So,um.. My parents' friends own this beach resort,it's pretty cool.. I'll talk to my parents to inform their friends,we can also get some discount" Jake suggests

"That'll make things easier,thanks man" Daniel says

"Yah,no probs.. Kim knows the resort too" Jake says

"Oh really"Daniel smirks

"Yah.. We went there last summer,together"Kim says

"Oh,yes.. You told me about it.. Um,Platinum Beach Resort" Stephanie says stroking her chin

"Yes,they have everything" Kim says

"Or y'all could go camping" I suggest
Stephanie's fork drops on her plate..

"Camping? Me? Camping? How badly do you want me dead,Alice.. No shower,no bed. It's-"

"Just torture" Kim interrupts Stephanie's rant.. "We know,you say that every time we suggest camping"

"So,scratch camping out of the list" Jake says smirking

"The bears,the mosquitoes,no power supply,no-"

"We get it,dude.. We're not going camping" Kim interrupts with an annoyed tone.

"So,I'll talk to my parents" Jake says smirking

"Thanks babe" Kim replies

"Kim and I will talk to Shiva" Stephanie suggests

"I'll tell the others about it" Daniel suggests

"And I'll try to talk to Carter" I say rolling my eyes

"Yes,go for it" Daniel says

We eat up and everyone leaves,I decide to go to the field,Carter must be practicing.. After all,Daniel and the others are leaving college soon so a new set will take over....
