Chiron had led Ameris inside the camp borders and towards the big house after recovering from his surprise. She entered the cabin, glancing around the place, noticing that not much had changed over the past few centuries.

"So, what brings the original hybrid to this camp?" Chiron questioned, getting straight to the point. "You aren't exactly one to be here at all unless it's something gravely important."

Ameris sighed. "I believe you know that Zeus and Hades happened to have lost their symbol of power and are blaming it on Poseidon."

"I feared that would happen. And Perseus is a son of Poseidon. Which is why Hades targeted him, didn't he? Especially after the pact of the big three," Chiron stated.

Ameris nodded. "Yes, you're right. Perseus is indeed my half-brother. And I was sent here because of that, to protect him and the camp because of the nearing of the Great Prophecy that we'd dreaded to come true."

Chiron let out a deep sigh, seeming to age a few more years. "I deeply appreciate that you're here to help me protect the camp. Perhaps, you can help train the demigods while you're here."
