Well I don't know much about the couple so I'll go off what I know. I'm not sure how I feel about Rain, he was a little pushy and annoying but at the same time I like his edge. However I love Needletail but that's not important. After Darktail kills Rain, Needletail is devastated. However in a way it's better off that Rains dead, he brought out the worst in Needletail. Once he died, she started becoming the "good guy" again. It seems deliberately presented as manipulative and unhealthy, at least from Violetshine's perspective. To me he seems like that bad boy college boyfriend your high school friend starts dating. Honestly it didn't seem like they had any genuine moments. Most of the time they were just talking crap about the clans. Idk to me it just didn't seem very...healthy?
