Overall they aren't a bad couple. However I do feel like he moved on from Honeyfern far too quickly, especially after talking about having kits with her. It was a very tragic and unexpected death, I just feel like he shouldn't of moved on as quickly as he did. What makes it worse was that he moved on to her sister, perhaps it was a Graystripe and Millie type of thing. He thought she was similar to his past love. Although now their very cute together. ⚠️SPOILER ⚠️
I actually thought his death in Broken Code was very sad, and I normally don't like Berrynose that much. He's very grumpy and cocky, that's the main reason I don't like him that much. However his death made me really sad, the thought of how Poppyfrost would react was heartbreaking.
