AWS: The Games Continue

The Games End

"So what did you two do about that wolf?" AJ asked.

"I pushed him at the blue team who was right behind us." Scott said.

"We need to get ready for them they should be here soon." Will said.

"AJ go out and see where they are ok?" Scott said.

"Ok," he said and flew out into the pit, "I don't see..."

All that Scott WIll and I saw was the blue teams wolf jumping from right at the edge AJ just went over and took out a joint of the wing, none of us had time to react as the wolf went down with AJ. The rhino burst out of the stairwell and slammed into Scott. Scott was flung into the wall of the pit.

"David. Go after that wolf, Scott and I got this." I heard Will say over the earpiece.

"Got it you two come help me when you're done here." I say and jump out into the pit. I switched to get the look of a bird-bot and flew up a couple stories. I saw the wolf at the very bottom of the pit, waiting for me almost taunting me.

"David, Wills out and I'm taking the rhino a few levels where are you?" Scott said

"Going after the wolf."

"That's not helpful."

"Just tell me if the rhino falls into the pit."

"Fine, will do." He said.

I went down to the bottom floor of the pit and came face to face with the other wolf. It's mask came off and he just happened to be Kile, I took my mask off so we could talk for a second.

"Out of everyone I didn't think you would be my final bot-type in here but when you came down here I knew that it was you." Kile said

"I actually expected to see you here." I responded

"So you think you're good enough to take me out."

"You're saying that almost like you have a chance." I say and Kile rushed me.

I sidestepped but Kile had been fighting in theses a lot longer than I have been and easily stuck out his arm and still hit me with a surprising amount of strength. Kile backed off and let me get up, I summoned my scythe and Kile summoned his axe. He jumped at me with an overhead arc. I rolled under him, turned around and lashed out with my scythe. Kiles arc had gotten around and was coming up and intercepted my scythe without and problems. I shot a couple grenades that Kile dodged and he fired some back at me. I was avoiding most of the grenades until the last two that hit me at my feet and directly in the chest.

"David I got him, up about halfway. He should be coming over soon." I heard Scott say.

"Thank god. I'm getting killed here." I say. I see Kile jumping at me and I roll to the side.

I jump up and switch to a bird bot and start flying when I feel the grappling claws connect with me and Kile start climbing up to finish me. I switch to make my form a rhino and start to fall. Kile lets go and I switch back to bird and start flying up again. I saw Scott at the edge of a ledge about to fall.

"David I hope your plan whatever it is works." I heard Scott say and he jumps over the edge but catches himself and swings to the level below him, Kile grabs me with the claws again and starts pulling himself towards me and the rhino stumble over the edge.

I fly straight toward the rhino hoping to make it in time. I fly right under the rhino but the line holding Kile and me together gets snagged, I fly around the rhino and tangle the wire so Kile can't get loose.

"David get loose now." I heard Scott say.

I land on the rhino and switch forms back to a wolf and jumped off leaving the microbots that were caught by the grappling claws, and used my own grappling claws to swing myself to safety.

"How did you know that would work?" I heard Scotts voice.

"I didn't. I just hoped that it would."

"Wow ok well I just guess that we have amazing luck."

"How do you think we have survived for my whole life." I said, "hey I'm going down to check that they are both deactivated start heading there."
