Menchi was flying. Egg in hand

"That looks so fun." Killua smiled in awe. "This ravine has updrafts that are crucial to the Spider-eagle. Once they hatch, the wind currents help guide their newborn chicks as they fly up to safety." Menchi made a magnificent landing 'Tch, show off' I roll my eyes. "There! Now I just need to boil it and I'll be set!" She grinned

"You gatta be kidding! You mean, you really expect us to jump down there? That's crazy!" 255, he looks nervous

"Someone's scared~" I grinned. "S-Shut the hell up! like you'll do it" He raged. I start jumping and stretching "Oh yeah?"

I run and jump. The others followed

Oh that's right. Camera memory's, maybe it's a good time to take some! I quickly grab my bag pulling out a camera, turning around

I smile gasping in awe at the sudden adrenaline. The 5 of us, holding onto the web "Hey? What's wrong, let's go" Leorio said. "Be patient"

"The updrafts don't happen all the time..." I sigh. "Huh?" Already, a few let go, falling to their deaths. Welp, not my problem.

"When do you think the next one comes along?" Leorio asked. "Any minute now." Gon answered.

I swear, Gon's nose just twitched. Crack! Oh shi- "Oh, crap! What the...?"

"It appears the web isn't strong enough to support all this weight." Kurapika said. "You think?!" I grunt. "Gon, can we go yet?" Killua ignored everyone's panic.

No response. "Damn! I can't wait any longerrr!" One let go, two, three. They did catch eggs, their fate was already in motion sadly. Their echoing screams...Now the web was thinner. About to break any second! "It's going to snap!" Leorio screamed

"Okay, now!" Gon yelled.

One by one we all let go. I see, everyone else followed Gon, for they also let go at the same time. I grab an egg "Yes! Guys! I got it" I cheer

"Y/n!"

I look to my left, Leorio holding out his arm. I take his hand as we were carried to the surface. I smile "Hah! Hahaha! This's so fun!"

Oh wait. Gravity being gravity made us all fall back onto the cliff. "Shit! I'm not gonna make a safe landing!" I groan. My legs higher above me, damn! I'm bout to land face first

A single tear came out as I braced for impact. "Y-Y/n,"

I felt a pull, then something warm. Leorio wrapped himself around me as we fell. Hitting the ground, I was on top. Heat came to my cheeks as I froze

"Y-y/n, could- couldja help me out?" He strained out. "O-Oh! I'm so sorry!"

I quickly get off.

"You alright?" He asked. "W-Look at you! You're more beat up than me!" I point. He chuckled "A few scratches aren't gonna hurt me!"

I sigh and shook my head "But here, let me clean off the dirt..." I lick my thumb, wiping off any dirt marks on his face

"H-Hey! I could do this myself"

"Oh shush! You taken care of me too many times, we barely know each other! This is the least I can do..." I mumble
