"Damn right, I do. For the right price, you can buy treasures, dreams, hearts, and even people's lives." Leorio snapped. I went quiet.

"Take that back, Leorio. I will not stand here and allow you to insult the Kurta." Kurapika yelled. I sigh, this again.

But it is true. You could buy anything with money, at least, if you have the right amount.
"Why? It's the truth, isn't it." I spoke

"If I had money, my friend would still be alive today!"

I slightly gasped. Leorio went quiet right away and avoided our eyes. "Was he ill?" Kurapika asked

"Yeah. It was a curable disease. The problem was that the operation cost a fortune. I was naive. I figured I could become a doctor so I could cure kids with the same disease. And tell their parents they owed me nothing. It was free of charge! That was my dream"

He started to tear up a bit, which got a new feeling inside me. What's it called. "Pretty good joke, right? Turns out, to become a doctor you already have to have an obscene amount of money. Get it now? The whole world runs on money."

"I may not have a big story like the both of you. But, I want to have as much money as I can." I pant. "Could you tell us? Your story..." Kurapika slightly smiled. I sigh

"I was under a Human trafficking system as a kid. Kids my age and older were always brought in and out, we didn't know why we were taken. But Rochester was a terrible place to grow up in" I explain. Kurapika and Leorio only kept silent

I tear up a bit, but before I actually start to cry I wipe them away. "Men and Women, they bought us for work. Sex, anything else they would want, they used us."

Flashback

"Hello little one"

I look up. A man in a suit had his hand out to me. Like he wanted me to come with him. But at that point, I was afraid, afraid, and broken.
I stepped back ready to run away.

"My name is Rei Hoshi. And I'm here to help you" He smiled. "Rei Hoshi?...." I croaked out. He nodded "That's right! Hoshi. That will be your last name from here on out." He smiled

He looked pretty young, to be honest. He looked as if he was younger than the Boss...

An explosion came behind him and I jumped at him. My 10-year-old body was weak and scared.

What seemed to be Men in black clothing, gun in hand, and cuffs. "You see, we are here to help. Help children in need, children like you" He hugged me

I held on even tighter, I took a glance at what's in front and seen the Boss and his men cuffed in a line. I was saved. I was safe. I was okay

More kids came out from the back. Scared, confused "My darling children. You have been saved from this monstrosity."

Rei stood up with me in his arms and smiled upon the children running at him.

End of flashback

"A man saved me. Rei Hoshi. You see, Rei is a very respected man, although he worked in the underworld he is a good man. So, I've dedicated myself to help children, who have been taken from their homes, their lives and set them free" I smile

The boys were sort of taken back. I guess my story was different. "You didn't seem to be the type to have such a story" Kurapika glances at me. I chuckle "But to do such a thing. I'll need to be one of those people. Wanting money. I can't exactly go guns blazing, I want to take it the safe way. I can buy them off, then once the children are safe, I bring destruction"
