Briar and Everett had been alone before, but alone together in a bedroom? No.

Neither knew exactly what to say or what to do, so they both sat at the edge of Everett's bed and stared at the bathroom door. In silence. Complete and utter silence. Briar fiddled nervously with her fingers as she snuck small glances at Everett every once in a while. Everett could sense her nervous glances and he could see her shaking fiddling hands through his peripheral vision.

"Thank you, for uh, letting Bexley and I stay here," the silence was broken by Briar who gave Everett a small smile. Everett shook his head dismissively, "It's fine, don't worry about it princess."

Ah, the beauty of silence once again.

A small squeak escaped Briar plump lips which made Everett turn his head towards her in confusion. Then, a small giggle escaped her as she covered her mouth to try and stifle the laughter that was beginning to bubble out of her.

"Why are you laughing?" Everett furrowed his brows as he looked down at the petite girl sitting beside him.

"I-I am so sorry," Briar tried to say as she laughed uncontrollably. "I just laugh in awkward situations, which makes things more awkward." She sighed as she finally began calming down. About another minute of silence went by before Briar began laughing once again, causing the corners of Everett's lips to turn upwards.

"You're fucking weird," Everett mumbled as he ran a hand through his hair. "No I'm not!" Briar gasped as she lightly smacked his arm. "I'm just unique," she mumbled as he gave a short laugh.

"If you want to go in the shower you can," Everett mumbled quietly as he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly since he has never had to do this sort of thing before. Briar nodded gratefully and began walking towards the shower as she shut the door.

Once Briar was out of view, Everett flopped back on his band with both of his hands covering his face as he groaned loudly into them. Everett didn't know what to make of Briar or the weird feeling he was getting around her. He just simply didn't know. He didn't know if he liked Briar the way he likes Rowan in a sisterly way, or if he liked Briar the way he likes Holly in a fuckable way. At this thought, Everett groaned even louder in his hands. He picked up his phone that was lying next to him and clicked on the first contact he could think of. After three rings, the person on the other line finally picked up.

"Hey man, what's up?" Said the one and only, Sebastian Kingsley.

"I'm confused," Everett huffed out into the phone as he heard his American friend chuckle a little. "What? Not even a simple hello you dumb fuck?" Sebastian laughed as he mocked offence. "Shut the fuck up dick."

"Is that Everett?"

Everett could hear a girls voice in the background who he presumed to be Sebastian's girlfriend, Alexandra Black.
