The Rise of The Sanitized

Chapter 6: The one left standing

Elenor wakes up on the ground in deep sea metro and she thinks that any one who isn't sanitized is sick. She actually thought that the inklings and octolings that went sanitized were mutainized and the sanitization serum was the cure. Just like all the other sanitized inklings and octolings thought the same. Elenor also had no memory of Veemo or anything good happened to her. Her memories all were changed so it seemed like she had been sanitized her entire life.

Sanitized Agent 3: Are you awake now?

Sanitized Elenor:(while getting up) Yeah, I'm up.

Sanitized Agent 3: Good. Now stay up.

Sanitized Elenor:(quietly) Bossy.

Sanitized Agent 3: What?

Sanitized Elenor: Nothing!

Veemo: Elenor? Can you hear me?

Sanitized Elenor: Did you say something?

Sanitized Agent 3: No you started talking. Not me. You were just hearing things.

Sanitized Elenor: Yeah, I guess I was.

Sanitized Agent 3: Do you know what you're supposed to do?

Sanitized Elenor: No. I don't.

Sanitized Agent 3: Me nether. Were supposed to wait here until someone comes and tells us what were supposed to do.

Sanitized Elenor: Okay, so we just stand here until someone finds us and tells us what to do?

Sanitized Agent 3: Pretty much.

Then Elisariana walks onto the train they were in with a small pile of pictures and a container of sanitization serum.

Sanitized Elisariana: Are you guys waiting for your missions?

Sanitized Elenor: Yeah. How did you know?

Sanitized Elisariana: Because I have been told to give you them.

Sanitized Elenor: What are they?

Sanitized Elisariana:(to Agent 3 and handing her the pictures) You are supposed to track down these inklings and octolings.

Sanitized Agent 3:(while taking the pictures) Then what?

Sanitized Elisariana: Bring them back so they can be sanitized. Your supposed to take the other agents with you.

Then Agent 3 walks away to go and find the rest of the agents.

Sanitized Elenor: What about me?

Sanitized Elisariana: You are supposed to go sanitize the inklings and octolings that are already here and make more of the serum.

Sanitized Elenor: That doesn't sound like fun.

Sanitized Elisariana: Not everything's fun. Now go.

Then she turns around to walk away.

Veemo: Elenor... Are you there...

Sanitized Elenor: What?

Sanitized Elisariana: What do you want now?

Sanitized Elenor: I just thought you said something.

Sanitized Elisariana: You were just hearing things.

Sanitized Elenor: I don't think so.

Sanitized Elisariana: Do you need some of the serum?

Sanitized Elenor: No, I don't think so.

Sanitized Elisariana: Good, than stop that.

Sanitized Elenor: Okay.

Veemo: Elenor, it's me, Veemo.

Sanitized Elenor: No, this isn't real.

Veemo: Elenor, I am real. You are being mind controlled.

Sanitized Elenor:(creeped out by Veemo) Get out of my head!

Then she runs head first into a wall to get Veemo to shut up. After that Veemo was quiet for a while and Elenor went to go and do what she had been told to do. Late in the night, Elenor was asleep only her dream was disturbing to her. What was happening in her dream was Veemo showing Elenor the truth about everything only with Elenors memories. Then Elenor woke up and remembered everything that had ever happened to her.

Elenor:(still sanitized but not in the head) Veemo? Veemo are you still there?

Veemo: What is is it?

Elenor: Oh I have never been more happy to be talking to you right now.

Veemo: I'm just glad that you remember me.

Elenor: Why would I not remember you?

Veemo: Because your sanitized.

Elenor: No I'm not.

Veemo: Look at yourself in the mirror.

Elenor: Okay.

Elenor got up and looked at her reflection and here is what she saw.

Elenor: How long have I been sanitized?

Veemo: A few hours.

Elenor: When was I sanitized?

Veemo: After you became Agent 7 of an agency called Squidbeak Splatoon.

Elenor: Was Captain Cuttlefish sanitized too?

Veemo: I think so.

Elenor: Do I get out of here or do I stay here and pretend to be controlled by that crazy phone?

Veemo: Do the second one.

Elenor: Okay.

Then Elisariana came in there and saw Elenor standing in the middle of the room talking to Veemo.

Elenor: I was not talking to myself.

Elisariana: Yeah I'm not being controlled by the phone any more.

Elenor: Good, I thought you would kill me if you found out I was thinking for myself.

Elisariana: Yeah why would I?

Elenor: because that's the kind of octoling you are.

Elisariana: I won't tell anyone if you don't.

Elenor: Deal.
