Chapter 1

-a millennium after-

(King Alexander's POV)

"What does the sun look like? How 'bout the moon? Can you describe them for me?" The Angel Princess quickly asked him as he continued on stroking her hair to make her fall asleep.

"Why would you like to know that, My Princess?" I asked her. She looks so adorable with the curiosity shining from her eyes.

"Well, I'm never allowed outside under any circumstances and I've heard the other kids talking about it. I got a little bit curious."

I let out a small chuckle but was sure that sadness is showing in my eyes. "Sorry 'bout not letting you out of the palace, Princess. It's for your safety."

She bowed her head and nodded, "I know, Father. I just . . . I thought I could . . ."

"You thought you could what?"

"Nothing," she replied while shaking her head. "I just want to sleep."

"Okay then, Princess." I know what she wants but I just can't give it to her. I want to be sure of her safety than give her her happiness. "I'm sorry."

"It's okay, Dad, I understand. Can you tell me a story again?" She said after smiling a sad smile.

I chuckled. "'That' story again? Aren't you too old for that? Besides, no one can prove that that really happened."

She gave me an 'are you an idiot' kind of look. "That's what makes it a story, right? And I'm only 10 years old. I'm not that old."

I let out a sigh. "I know. I wish your mother was still alive to cheer you up. Anyways, you want the story, right?"

Her mother and my wife, Angeliena Mariani, was a very beautiful and kind person. She is the model of all angels but she had to die giving birth to our beautiful daughter and I love her.

"Yeah, I do."

"Well, here goes:

Once upon a time, a little Princess named Thea plucked a flower in the royal castle of the vampires. Unknowingly, the flower that she plucked was the flower that is most important to all Vampires.

The Vampire King, Geliah, became so mad that he made the decision to clear the face of the earth of all angels. He made a bait, a party, in which he invited almost all of the Angelic Royalty, including Princess Thea herself.

He planned that while the Angels are having a great time, he'll ask Princess Thea to dance and kill her right there and then. In front of all the Angels and Vampires.

Then, the time came for the start of the party. The Angels came, as promised, but when Princess Thea entered through the door, the King himself was struck by her magnificent beauty.
