"Quill said he stole the power stone from Morag," Rocket states while walking across the table
"Is that a person?" Banner asks after taking a bite of the food in front of him
"No, Morag's a planet. Quill was a person," Rocket replies
"Like a planet? Like in outer space?" Scott asks in confusion
"Aw look. It's like a little puppy all happy and everything. Do you wanna go to space? You wanna go to space puppy? I'll take you to space," Rocket states, mocking Scott
"So when did Quill have the Power Stone, Rocket?" I asked, reeling him back in
"Uhh, 2014 I believe," he replies
He then gets off the table and we move on to the next stone. The Soul Stone. Nebula was up. We decided to take a break before she got started to clean up the mess we made. There were plates and take-out boxes everywhere. Banner and I gathered up all the plates while Nat and Rhodey took care of all the garbage. The rest of the group took up the closest bathrooms to wash their hands and just freshen up overall. Once everyone was done and ready to start, Nebula stood up in front of the table and began to explain.
"Thanos found the Soul Stone on Vormir," Nebula begins
"What is Vormir?" Nat quickly asks while taking notes
"A dominion of death at the very center of celestial existence. It's where Thanos murdered my sister," Nebula replies, avoiding eye contact with everyone
None of us really knew how to respond. Scott broke soon broke the silence.
"Not it," he mutters
"Alright so we have the Aether on Asgard with Thor in 2013, that'll be one team. The Power Stone on Morag in 2014. With the Soul Stone, we can retrieve it anytime before Thanos, correct?" I ask Nebula
"Correct," she mutters before sitting back down
"All right, which one's next?" Banner asks
"That Time Stone guy," Nat states
"Oh, uhh, Doctor Strange," Banner fills in
"What kind of Doctor was he?" Nat asks, fiddling with her pen between her fingers
"Ears, nose, throat meets rabbit from a hat," Tony jokes
"Nice place in the Village though," Banner replies
"Yeah, Sullivan Street," Tony sighs
"Mmm, Bleaker," Banner corrects him
"Wait? He lived in New York?" I ask
"No no, he lived in Toronto," Tony states
"No, he was on Bleaker and Sullivan," Banner raises his voice slightly as the two argue
"Guys... If you pick the right year, there are three stones in New York," I state
"Shut the front door," Banner states, sitting up in his seat
I stand up from my seat, pulling over a whiteboard that was pressed up against the wall. I quickly grabbed a marker and drew a straight line across the board.
"Think about it okay? We can put the Soul Stone first because it can be retrieved anytime before Thanos. Next up we have the Power Stone which is also on another planet. We can send one team back to 2014 and have them break off to retrieve the Power Stone and the Soul Stone in one jump. Then we have the Aether which is confirmed to be on Asgard in 2013. That's another team. If you line it up perfectly, the Time Stone, the Mind Stone and the Space Stone are all on Earth in New York," I state
