"I don't really remember, sorry. But do you want anything from me?" You asked and he shook his head saying no
"Don't wash dishes, I will do them myself" He said and with his shoulder lightly pushed you away
"Excuse me, but it's my job" You said and pushed him back. He chuckled and you finally saw him smile. Till now he had a cold face expression and seemed like a depressed or a sad guy
He insisted to help you while you dried them and put in the counters.
"So...your dad is the CEO of this hotel?" You asked and he nodded
"Yeah, but I don't really like to talk about it. I want people to know me as Jay, not CEO's son" He said and you smiled
"So your name is Jay..." You smirked but he ignored it for a few seconds. After putting last plate in it's place, you wanted to thank him but he cut you off
"You really grew Y/N" He asked and you chuckled. He told you that he remember you very well and you felt bad not being able to say the same. You thanked Jay for helping you and went your own way

You kept on working there and always insisted to clean penthouse. Jay was always ready greet you and spend his time with you. Your mom asked if you were okay cleaning penthouse since it was huge and not every new person could clean it perfectly, but you said that you were just fine.
You were about to unlock it when Jay opened the door
"Jesus! What are you doing here?" He scared you swinging the door wide open and helped you with your cleaning tools
"I'm not Jesus, but I already know when you're coming. You're so loud with all these tools! I can hear you from my bathroom!" He complained making you laugh. Like always you cleaned and he helped you. Today you didn't have much work since Jay already washed his clothes, did dishes and cleaned his own room.
You entered his dad's room and made the bed. You were about to open the curtains when Jay walked to you. Jay stopped you from opening the curtains and took your hand
"Thank you, for being with me and not ignoring my existence" He said and you were about to ask what does he mean by that but suddenly you remembered what your mom said long time ago...
Flashback
Your mom got home from work and while you were preparing the table you two talked
"Today I met Jay, he was sitting alone at the lobby so I walked to him. I asked what happened? He answered that he has no friends and usually stays alone. Last weekend he threw a party, but wasn't happy with that. He's finally realizing that all of his friends are only because of his dad's money" Your mom said while washing her hands
"Oh really? Jay is the CEO's son?" You asked and she nodded
"I feel so bad for him, so whenever he sees me I try to find some free time to talk with him" Your mom said which made your heart melt at how caring she was
End of the flashback
"Y/N! Do you want it or no?" He asked and you got back to earth
"What? Yes! What?" You asked and he crashed his lips on yours. He wrapped his arms around your waist and you slowly lifted your hands up, placing them on his neck.
You broke the kiss and looked at him
"I don't think that it's right..." You said and he turned his head to the side not understanding what you mean
"You're from a rich family and I am not... I don't want to start even a friendship because your family might think that I'm using you for your money" You said Jay thought that it was just ridiculous
"Y/N do you even hear what you're saying? You're really that old-fashioned? Your family's background doesn't say anything about who you are and these past weeks, each day you proved it to me, that you're just amazing!" He said and you chuckled
"So you don't care that I'm not a daughter of some famous person?" You asked just making sure and Jay sighed. He hugged you and pecked your cheek
"I don't care who your parents are, I just want to have you close to me because I like you Y/N" He whispered which made you smile. You hugged him back and placed your head on his shoulder
"But what about your dad?" You asked and let go of him. Jay laughed and lifted you up, throwing you on the bed
"I think I should prove somehow, for you to stop worrying" He said and placed kisses all over your neck
Later you two needed to hurry up and finish cleaning the penthouse. That night you left work with Jay's smell all over you, his phone number in your phone as a BOYFRIEND and head full of thoughts about tomorrow work..
