"Isn't it amazing, how almost every line on our hands align? When your hand's in mine. It's like I'm whole again, isn't that a sign? I should speak my mind," ~Daniel Seavey, 8 Letters

I'm not sure where I am at the moment.

Not in my apartment. Not at my parent's.

On a chair. Sideways. Facing a screen. Utterly comfortable. Warm. I'm on someone's lap for sure.

I look up.

Daniel Frickin' Seavey is looking down at me.

"Hi," I whisper.

"Hello," he smiles.

His whi—blonde hair is sort of messy. It's cute.

Was I asleep? For how long? How far is the movie? I don't usually fall asleep during movies, right?

"Are you okay?" Daniel asks.

He's holding me close. I press my face closer to his chest.

"I'm fine. Was I sleeping?" I ask.

"Yeah. It was cute," he grins.

Bzzz.

I try to get my phone from my butt pocket.

I see a text from Nik as soon as I open my phone. On the group chat.

I look at her. She and Hayhay are smirking at me.

I look at the text.

Nik: How's ur bf?

Um? I have no boyfriend.

Max: i have no idea wat ur talking bot.

Hayhay: seavey...

I instantly turn red.

"Is everything okay, baby?" Daniel asks.

Baby?

I look down in embarrassment. "Uh-huh."

"What's up?"

"They're texting me," I look at my friends, showing him my phone.

He smiles. "That's nice."

"Nice..." I mutter.

I put my phone on the table in front of Daniel, then snuggle back to him.

"Still tired?" He asks.

I try to nod my head.

It takes way too much effort to do that.

He chuckles. "Sleep tight."
