I walked in the room. The head lady-in-waiting quickly bowed and then left, closing the door behind her. I bowed. Henry turned around stared at me. "Stand up." I stood up. "Turn around." I did. "So, What's your name?" I was quite suprised. Henry usaully didn't pay much attention to ladies in waiting. Then I remember I was supposed to seduce the king. "So??" I completly forgot he asked ny a question. "Uh, Katherine Howard, your highness." He smirked. "How old are you, Katherine?"
"17 years old, your highness."
"I feel like we are going to see a lot more of eachother very soon, Katherine." He then just walked away. What was that supposed to mean??
**time skip**
Spoiler alert, the king was not that bad. He was blunt and abrupt but he seemed like he liked me. Plus, he had not made any advances yet. Maybe he did not want me for my body, like Manox and Dereham. "Katherine Howard?" A guard called my name. "The king wishes to speak to you."
I follow him to Henry's sleeping chambers. He opens the door, pushes me in, and walkes away. I quickly bow for Henry. "I swear Katherine, I do not know what to do without you." I blushed. This time felt weird. I do not think I truly care for this man, but I do feel flustered. I do not trust him yet. "You're all I need, love." I smile shyly. "I feel like your finally were you're meant to be." He comes closer. I get a little uncomfortable. "Don't you think we have a connection?!" And there it is. The same old trick. Henry only wants me in bed. I guess its not so different. I don't really care this time. I've had enough of getting my hopes up. All men just want me for my body. He begins kissing me. I sigh but just kiss him back.
