My shift ended I made my route home I put my key through the door . I saw Carlos sitting on the couch quietly.
"Hey what's wrong ?" I said sitting down beside him
"Nothing I'm fine .." he said turning away
"You obviously not Carlos ..look what's wrong you know you can tell me .."
"That girl ..she's gone and there's nothing I can do about it it's my stupid fault if I had gotten the guy away faste- she might not be dead gosh how could I be so." He said walking around the room
"Hey come sit down okay we'll talk." I said trying to calm him down
Carlos punched his hand agains the fireplace
"Hey Carlos come sit down ." I said sitting him down on the couch .
