Carlos had gone through the grieving process
I'm not sure yet if he's done it's been a few days we looked through some photos and helped his dad sort through some of his moms stuff .
"You okay ?" I ask looking at Carlos fixing his tie
"Yeah I just miss her ."
" I know you do .."
We headed to the funeral it was Carlos, Pablo ,Sophie ,some of their close friends ,and me
It was a closed casket ceremony people said a few words and then Carlos went up to say some words
"My ma was the strongest woman I've ever know she always was a helping hand with everyone and and everything . She love-ed I'm sorry ." He said at the end chocking on his words
"She loved her family deeply and she was a loving soul overall I love you mom ." He said at the end kissing her casket
He came in ver back to where I was sitting I rubbed his back
The ceremony was over after a couple more people said words
"Thanks for coming."
" I'll always be here you know that." I said giving him assuring look
