Where Do We Go From Here?

The second we heard Jade's wish, Elena and I exchanged frantic looks to one another.

"Wait, which Luke? " Elena asked.

"Luke... I don't know his last name. He's tall, brunette and has green eyes."

"You mean, Luke Clark? "

"Yeah, that's the one!"

I stood back, taking this all in. You have got to be kidding me! She can't like him! He'll hurt her.. or maybe he would only hurt me? Should I tell her? Did it even matter anymore?

"Umm, will you excuse us for a sec?"

"Umm, yeah, sure, I guess?"

I quickly grabbed hold of Elena and rushed her over by the tree.

"You have to tell her! Like... now!"

"I know but what do I even say? Oh yeah by the way the guy you're crushing on tried to rape me at the end of my eighth grade year and has been trying to get me back ever since? Yeah I don't think so!"

"Tell her the full story. She needs to know the truth. Maybe she'll understand. "

"Yeah, maybe. " And with that we made our way back to Jade.

"Jade," I said, "There's something you should know about Luke."
