All black

The world has no color, everything just black

and nothing can make it go back

the day you left everything came crashing down

until it was too much that I drowned

looking at the far distance of the surface

finding a new place down below.

I tried to race against the water

but no matter how much I went up I went down farther

I haven't seen the colors in so long

and I know that loving you would always be wrong

but I took the risk to reach for it

but when I was almost there you dug another pit

Why did you have to do this to me?

the one you called your one and only

the rainbow that use to flash when you smiled

and anyone could see that my heart would go wild

so why take so much and give me nothing back

everytime I was almost to your love there was an attack

now I can't tell if the blue rain touches my cheeks

and I watch my scale of life as it peaks

but I hope to one day walk far enough across the rainbow with no color in the sky

and again we can see each other eye to eye

and maybe forever the black a white world be a memory

of the old, naive me
